Liberty flights box mods - advice?

Has anyone used them before? E-Cig City Mods - E-CigCity Box Mods They seem really similar to dave's AA box mod which I've seen nothing but praise for. Sadly, the AA box mod isn't in stock or going to be made soon though.

All there is in stock right now is the 510 tank box mod which would be ok with me as I have all my ego stuff here and I could use my cartos on a 808 adapter (I hope?). I'm a little hesistant to get one because I have nothing to go on. No picture, no reviews and I can't find any threads on these.

It would be my first true 3.7v mod but is it going to be much different from an ego? It's cheap enough to try it out but there isn't much point if it wont be much different. I have 650mAh ego batteries so I'd expect longer life out of this if anything.

I don't have a lot of £ to throw around so a mod that's not massively expensive that isn't going to fetch a ton in customs charges shipping from the usa sounds fine by me too.

Worth getting one of these? Any thoughts at all would be really appreciated.

I've never tried their box mods but have ordered the Little Gem-well built and sturdy.

Those things are so easy to make. I had never touched a soldering iron before but about a month after I started vaping I slapped one together in a little over a half hour. Cost me $6.49 not including battery, charger or soldering iron.

If you are interested in a box mod, plus much more variety from a trusted supplier, I would suggest you look at Ken's Box Mods:

There will be a difference between your Ego and the 3.7. It does hit a lil harder but you can safely use LR attys with the box mod and not have to worry about frying your ego batts. I went that route for a while and then went on to a variable volt due to the shorter life of the LR attys.

I don't know if MadVapes will ship to your country but they have a variable volt box mod for pretty cheap. You have to watch for it though to be restocked because they constantly sell out of it.

Or If LibertyFlights has a 5 volt box mod, try that one! You will notice a much bigger improvement with that over the 3.7 volt box I love LF and have bought all my attys and Rivas from them for the last 9 months.

Hi Mad Vapes ships worldwide, its $15 to ship to EU, I have a 510 boxmod from LF, its well put together and does what its supposed to do, ok round the house but not for social events lol, hope this helps

Thanks for the heads up. I pretty much got the tank box mod half price from doing the reviews on LF and hope it'll be here in a few days. I'm not expecting miracles for a few points of extra voltage but hey it's a new toy I didn't spend too much on.

It will be a sitting around the house pv. I take my volt when I go outside. I had a hard enough time explaining an ego, I don't think a mini walkie talkie looking thing with "smoke" coming out of it will help lol.

I would get a mod from the usa but pvs seem to bring in pretty hefty customs charges. Found out the hard way when I got my volt. Almost paid for it twice. Something like a provari would be shockingly bad for extra charges.

I was thinking about a 5v box mod but everything was sold out except the one I got. If I get some £ in sometime and they're back in stock I'll be tempted to hit up a 5v just to see what it's like.

Just to say thanks again for the heads up, got it through today, charged the battery and it's working fine.

Had the biggest grin on my face unwrapping it lol nothing better than getting new stuff to inhale from.

Just a little bit warmer, epically funny looking and I'm gutted I totally forgot to get myself some 2.0ohm boge cartos for the experience.

At least now if I take it out and the cops stop me they'll think it's a detonator instead of a crack pipe lol!
