License to sell in Canada?

Hey ECF members,

I'm wondering if anyone out there could help me figure out what kind of business license if any I would need to sell e-cigs and e-liquid (with nic) online in Canada.

Any suggestions are appreciated, Thanks.

Market authorization first of all. No ones succeeded at that yet for e-cigs

Since WHO telling manufacture to stop selling unproclaim smoking alternative or cessation products, maybe you can try advertising under vaporizer and state that these product are not smoking cessation product and will not garantee to quit smoking. In actual fact it does. Lol

from what i have heard, canada does not allow juice containing nicotine.
batteries attys and carts should be ok, but not so much for the juice.

don't take my word for it tho.....check with your local authorities.

Well the not allowing means that customs may seize your order, most go through unexamined though. As far as a license goes, since Health Canada doesn't approve of the distribution of the stuff, you won't get one, however since several sites sell the stuff over the net, they don't have one either and it hasn't stopped them

Thanks Cobra, you answered the real reason I had for posing the question. I wasn't sure if current sellers had proper approval form HC or not because of the status of nicotine distribution in Canada. I'm still iffy if I should get a local business license or not, just because of potential fines I might face. But if this all becomes to complicated I might just stick with ebay/kijiji/ or local selling. Thanks again.

Don`t try to sell nic products on craigslist or they will ban all electronic cigarette products like kijiji did.

Has Kijiji ban sale a e-cigs? They just took down my ad, but I can find tons of other ones all across the country. Doesn't really seam right. do they have an official policy against it? I tryed to google but didn't come up with much
