I thought I'd leave this here and in the process I'll eat some humble pie.

I am the recipient of a gift that should be given to every analog smoker: A 510 PV. I've been given the gift of life.

I must say that I do not regret for a second having bought a Blu starter kit and I will always continue to fall back on it in times where stealth vaping, social vaping or simply times where 'cool' factor is a must. I loved my Blu. I loved the size, the weight and the somewhat flawed 'concept' of the automatic battery. It did hit the spot when I dipped and even dripped with it but I had no idea how much better vaping could get. No idea.

I have been in a Vaping Nirvana since I received my 510. I've shut out the world, locked myself in and have been mixing and matching flavors all week! It has felt like being locked away in an opium den. Not that I'd know what that is like ...

It's been true bliss. Tons of vapor production, a real throat hit regardless of the nic mg, a comfortable size with a manual battery and consistent smooth draws time after time. Add to that, 2 1/2 to 3 hours of battery duration. Coming from the Blu, these batteries feels endless.

I can now say that I am a vaper. Cravings for analogs have subsided to almost imperceptible levels. Things can only get better from here.

The difference is night and day, as I was told, and I couldn't have made the right choice without this forum and it's people. I just wanted to leave this here and say thanks.

As soon as the economic tide turns for me and I am able to play around with other models and mods - the real fun begins.

For the benefit of Mr. Kite and others who've asked me if I really drip with the Blu at the risk of messing up its battery, here is a vid I made demonstrating how I do it. It was, looking back, the only way to make the Blu give me a real TH.

Thanks everyone!

I too started with a blu kit. My wife surprised me with it right when they came out. It only took a week for me to move up to a 510 and get my money back from the blu.
The attys on the blu sucked, and the foil on the carts is a stupid design.
But hey it got me started on my vaping journey so thats all the matters.
Glad you hung on to yours and still get some use from it though.

I also started with the blu and learned early on that dipping/dripping was the way to go. Soon after, I moved on to the 510 and felt about the same as you. I absolutely adore my 510!!

If you want to make that 510 even better, try the CE2 Ceramic Cartomizers. Give you the warmth and hit that we all look for in the beginning. Loving it!!

Great vid, John. Seriously lovin' the soundtrack (what song is it?) and wish I had your mad editing skills.

Who needs to go into the world when we have Vaping Nirvana?

Thanks Cassie! I have a long way to go before I can edit like the pros. Sony Vegas helps out a lot with the most complicated keying and layering. The program is insanely easy to use yet pretty powerful.

I've been sick with a cold and sleeping since forever, sorry for the late response. Enid is right. It's a cover of McCartney's Dear Friend by a band called Minus Five. I'm a sucker for anything Lennon and McCartney did during and post Beatles :p
