Well, I had a little scare. I got "hooked" on Cinnabomb and vaped it exclusively for about a month. Recently I tried other juices and they had absolutely no flavor. I laid off the CB for a few days and for the first time I can somewhat taste other flavors. Cinnabomb is an awesome flavor and I am not trying to discredit it, but any flavor that strong can reek havoc on one's taste buds.

Sounds awesome, where do you get cinnabomb from?

Vaporbomb. It's a great flavor for smokers who want to try vaping because it's very strong. Smoking numbs one's taste buds and it takes a strong vape flavor to make an impression. Unfortunately, Cinnabomb has the same numbing effect and folks would have to lay off it to appreciate more subtle juice flavors.

Cinnamon is actually a pretty potent substance, pharmacologically speaking. It has a numbing effect that can reduce your sensation of taste (and cinnamon oil is often used as an herbal remedy for sore throats because it can desensitize). It's harmless, though, and your taste buds will recover, as you've noticed.

Although less common, it can also increase sensitivity to certain drugs and viruses, such as herpes, so some people find that it brings out cold sores (cold sores are a form of herpes that almost everyone has). Here's a short list of noticed side-effects.

In short, most people can handle concentrated cinnamon, but some people should avoid it.

That was a very interesting read

The site lists the flavor as:

We have cut back the amount flavor we use in the CinnaBomb by request, If you wish for your CinnaBomb to remain unchanged choose the 2x Flavor option.

Are you guys referring to the original strength? or this new cut back one?

I've been using the 2x strength. You might also want to look at their Fire&Ice flavor. It is really awesome.

cinabomb by VB, has been a popular vape big time... i love it... i went through about 60 mil... using it every day switching off between that and another darker flavor.
I got cold sores, blisters, on mouth and lips, and yes it whams the taste buds too...
so i stopped cold, for a month now, and use it once and a while.

VB's Arctic Ice is a cool refreshing alternate, no sweetener and no cinamon oil.... it's my stand by palate and atty cleanser and goes good with everththing!

uh, I'm gonna put on the pedantic hat. It's your nose not your taste buds that gets effected. your taste buds only taste sweet, sour, bitter, sour, and umami. The receptors in your nose get acclimated to strong scents and for a while "ignore" them. Like how a dairy farmer no longer smells the manure all around them. Sorry, it just bugs me when people say taste buds when they mean their nose.
/takes pedantic hat off

I was a VB Fire and Ice fan for a long time and had to ween off it's wonderful embrace when i couldn't even taste strong tobacco flavors. It's grip was on me so hard i even was in denial the several atties the cinnamon oil kills in shorter than average time and the countless mouth sores that appear.

I still have it occasionally, but I mop off the darker oil (that settles at the top) and get the taste I loved. Sure it doesn't have that explosive cinnamon taste that got me hooked in the first place but there is no downside either.

BTW, Loranne's Rootbeer flavoring has the same kind of oil, and it has the same explosive feel with the same after effects (kills atties, mouthsores, additive qualities etc..)
