there is the morality of selling something that is worth selling for the customers sake and then you have to deal with selling the stuff that is low quality but hi profit for the stores sake... if you work on commission, obviously selling the hi dollar stuff will earn you a bigger paycheck, but the average vaper isnt going to drop 200+$ on a set up in a hurry... if you get paid by the hour, maybe 8-12$ an hour... basically you will be babysitting the store....
you will need to know your stock, whats new in the market, what coils go with what atty, and if they sell juices... you need to try them all out to be able to tell the customers what direction to go in when it comes time to buy a juice...
business will be in waves, it will be dead slow and then all of a sudden you will get several people all at once.... some days no one will walk in... spend that time on the internet watching reviews of vape gear ( after you cleaned the shop and straightened up the shelves)
hopefully they will have a TV and a DVD player or Netflix available...
you will encounter people who have no idea what they want, and then there will be people who know what they want and what they want isnt possible to achieve or buy
be prepared to deal with the ones wanting a "deal" on everything... be it reduced costs, freebies, etc... there are also the ones who buy stuff, abuse the hell out of it and then come back and say its defective... and finally, the ones who have no idea that vaping requires maintaining the equipment ( coil changes, battery charging...)
never assume that anyone is as experienced in vaping as you are when they ask about equipment... if they are asking, they dont know the answer... ( why ask if you know)
once again... know the stock/supplies/items you are selling...
