I have a Trustfire 18650 3000mah battery that lasted me all day when I bought it 3 months ago but now it last 4-6 hours. Do they die after a while?

Yep, all batteries wear out eventually. Make sure you take it off the charge as soon as it's fully charged if possible, it will help extend the life of the battery.

Bad news. The max mAh rating on a 18650 is 2400. The one selling out there claiming more are knock-offs. Most likely that's not even a true Trustfire. Alot of times they take used batteries and re-wrap and sell them. If they are coming from certain countries they have no fear of legal reprisal. The best 18650 that I have researched is the AW brand. I currently have the 2nd rated best, the Trustfire "flame". Flame is just a nickname, do to the flame graphic on the wrapper. I got mine from Deal Extreme. Two for about $9.
