lifting batter post on 650 ego?

i tried an adapter on my ego and riva batteries and it must have pushed the battery post further into the battery....now none of my cartos or anything else 510 related works on any of my 3 batteries( tried the adapter on all of them) so now...how do i pull the middle post up on batt? anyone know? they are fully charged but now of no use :-(

Tweezers or forceps. If you have a large pair of tweezers, grab the center post as firmly as you can and lift it a little bit. If you don't have tweezers, you can buy locking forceps anywhere that sells fly tying equipment, or you can get a locking hemostat (same thing different name) anywhere that sells veterinary or medical supplies. The locking forceps will be the better tool for the job than tweezers.

I use a paperclip with just the very end bent around to get under the post and gently pry up.
