Has anyone besides me noticed that even on a new Ego battery, the threads just don't seem that to correctly on a Boge 510 Carto? My Riva batteries fit perfectly and have no looseness. The Boge 510 carto seems to be designed to fit the Riva better than the Ego. Is there a different spec here or does the Ego just use a different thread spec than the Riva?

Call me picky, but I find myself loosening and re-tightening a Boge carto frequently because it gets crooked in my Ego batts, even the new 1000mah Ego batt I ordered a week or so ago. At first, I thought it was just worn threads in my older Ego batteries.

I guess I'm the only one that notices thread difference in Ego and Riva? I'm using Boge 510 regular and LR cartos and seeing a vast difference in the way the threads mate up. Maybe I'll email my supplier and see what they have found.

The Riva batteries fit like the thread is custom cut for the Boge. Even a brand new Ego 1000mah battery is a loose fit as you screw in the carto. I just see this as an issue with the Boge or the Ego. I'm more inclined to think it's an Ego QC issue.

Dave, my experience has been just the opposite. The Riva threads are noticebly different - poorer quality. Some batts don't screw onto the Riva charger easily even. And I have marked certain ego-t attys that fit on the Riva - others (about 50% of the time) don't connect well enough to engage the electronics. And certain cartos - mainly 808D-1's don't fit well with adapters. All my joye eGo batts and atomizers fit well.

Riva threads are slightly different that Joye threads. I've ordered two Riva 510 kits, one for me and one for my BIL. Both were tight starts screwing into the charger at first. I think that's just because the threads weren't run after cutting.

Boge cartos screw on like precision devices on my Rivas. On the Ego batts, they are sloppy and some feel like they will strip out if you snug them up. If I put one in my pocket with the carto screwed on, when I take it out, the carto is slightly askew and I have to back off the threads and re-align.

There's a difference, but it's slightly better on my 5 click Ego 1000mah that I ordered recently. On my old Joye 510 batts, the cartos screw on just like on the Rivas ... precise and snug.

I like the connection on my Riva (650 mAh) better than my eGo-T (1000 mAh). Cartos, charger, attys...all seem to fit better on the Riva. That was actually my very first observation when I took the Riva out of the box and screwed an atty on. Even the tank that came with the eGo tends to wobble a little.
