Ah mate, sorry you picked that mod up. No, that mod has an ego connection built into the top cap, a 510 adapter will just let basically extend the connection.

So there's way to put an adapter from 18650 to 510 that will screw in to the vision blade

I'm unaware of anything that would replace the top cap. It might be the case that another mod exists with a top cap that would fit and have similar threading, but it isn't in my head.
