Hey folks. My PCC is my main charger (gave the regular one to my dad).

When charging, the light is solid red, and when done it blinks red. Starting last night, it hasn't been working right for one of my batteries.

I left the batt in there for ages... 7 or 8 hours. And it stayed solid red.

It's still working right on my other 2 batteries. And I'm now vaping on the weird one, so I guess I'll see how long it goes for.

Does anyone have an idea why this might happen? That battery is vaping fine right now, so is it safe to assume it probably is charging like it should?

First of all, shouldn't the light be green when the charge is done? Mine blinks red for the last five or so minutes before it turns green. For that misbehaving battery, I'd try cleaning the threads of the battery with rubbing alcohol, and maybe also cleaning inside the battery slot in the PCC with a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol. Let both dry thoroughly before inserting the battery into the PCC to see if it works. Here's hoping it does! :toast:

Glad to hear it! :D Did the alcohol help any?

Well, I didn't try it at first, because the battery seemed to be lasting a normal period of time anyway, despite the lights not going blink-y.

But when I tried to charge it again... left it in for 5 hours, and it died after 3 or 4 puffs.

So, I cleaned it out with PGA and a tooth brush. Just charged it up again. Took the normal 2 1/2 hours, and went blinky.

Haven't used it yet, but it seems to be charging normally again. :)

Woot - problem solved! :headbang:

I wipe my threads with a dry tissue every time I change batteries, and black stuff comes off onto the tissue every time. Maybe that stuff builds up to a coating that prevents a good contact. :(

I want to create some pretty little cloths I can use instead of tissues, but I have yet to find out whether that black stuff stains. I should go find an old rag I don't care about and get some of it on there to see if it washes off.
