I have posted in the past about my fabulous December and vape mail. I got the last piece today...fasttech...of course.
The package was like Pandora's Box...I kind of want to undo the opening!
It contained a couple of misc. things, replacement coils and the like...and a (surprisingly) little ohm/volt checker (you know the one), a rebuildable (v5? translucent) and a $12 mechanical (m16).
I first played with the ohm/volt checker and then added some diy "creamy burro" to the Atty.
I put it on my itastes and my ego vv... cool...nice dual coil with good vapor. It read .9 ohms but fired on all devices.
I then put a mnke 18650 in the mech. and tried the Atty....I wish I could take it back...lol! How can an unregulated 4.18v do THAT...when none of the others could deliver at any voltage 3.3-5?
The flavor! The thick chest tickling vapor (without the harsh throat burn!) I had no clue how good my juice was...notes I had never tasted...
the point is...unless this changes as time ticks by (vaping often does) I may be ruined as far as...all my other...stuff....countless clearos...tanks...coils etc. Five vv devices...Stop world...and gimmee my...
Mechanical & rba!
Just wanted to vent...and I thought my DIY juice was mediocre...and that's a cheesy factory wind too..ruined I am...ruined...gonna have to lower my nic. level...

Lol. My v3 mod from ft is all I use anymore. I don't have a good dripper at the moment. I had the immortaclone from ft for a while but returned it because of a stripped out screw hole. I do have a fatty v3 on it's way, plus the brass neme clone.

All I can say is give some thought to joining the kayfun/chifun crowd. The flavor of a dripper with the convenience of a tank imo.

I've seen some pictures were folks wrap one or both ends of the wick up in the chamber to increase capacity. I'm glad it works for them, but I always wind up tearing those back out when I try them. The best I can do to suit me is a build that holds ~20 drops to start and vapes out 8/9 drops before redripping. Always a nice fresh taste that way.

No way to tell I guess. It did warm up tho.I have noticed it in the past on rebuilds for an evod/protank coil. I bet if I checked it with something like my new handy dandy little ohm checker it was probably a little higher like 1.1 or so. I thought the protections wouldn't allow firing less than 1 ohm on my vv devices (according to directions). I have read/been told that you really can't trust the ohms check on my itastes to be perfect
What gets me is the difference I notice in my protank...unregulated, somehow, fires...I don't know if stronger is the right word, but it is definitely different. I am really glad this works like it does as investing in a mechanical (device, rebuildable, batteries, charger etc.), even low end stuff, wasn't cheap (to me).
