I just ordered two SS Tips just incase I ever get to order one of these. Still waiting to spend money. I just can't wait.... LOL
I hope you can get a good grip with your lips on the double barrel too bad they cant make em flat. Flat tips seem to work better, IMO. I guess 901 carts fit 510s & they seem to be a bit more flat than 510 flat tips making them a better fit for double barrel delight, FYI.
Not the 801's I have. Also, your just not going to get as sweet of a drag using rounded tips on the Double Barrel.

Wow is all I have to say about this double SB. Just tried out trueloves's at the NYC meeting earlier. Can't wait to have one myself.
What sort of set up did he prefer? 2 801s at 3.7V is a bit weak for me I feel like. I'd prefer a quick draw to give me thick heavy clouds.
Also, a quick stupid question... with one atty unplugged from the double doesn't waste any more batt life right? I don't believe it does & if so I'm sure its somewhat infinitesimal, but had to ask anyway.

You can use one or two atties. It really does not effect the battery life using two of them. If it does it's not battery killer at all seeing ATM I'm on day two with my 18650 battery.
It does however change the ohms of the atomizer according to Cddz. It should cut it in half when you split the load. So a 510 at 2.5 would be 1.5 I believe. So really your atomizers will run a little hotter with 3.7 batteries.

I put 2 510 attys in. With 6v of power. I smoked up the diner, LOL!

There seems to be quite a few of these DBSB tops around which would lead one to believe they are ready for production and shipping. But still we are un-able to order these? What is the deal??
For me (and it seems like im not alone here), I would buy one the second they are up on the site. From a business view, altsmoke is losing money by the second on a product they have already made, but refuse to release.
Oh well... so we wait...
