Ok. I have gone to the Subtank from my Protank 3 because I am hating to spend so much for the coils and I fell in love with the Subtank... anyhoo..

the question is this, when you get a dry hit, is the taste supposed to linger? I have been told that by doing some primer puffs it should rewick the cotton and you can keep vaping on it. However I can still somewhat taste the burn. Is this normal? Should I replace the wicking after a dry hit?

Thanks in advance.

That is the problem with cotton wicks vs silica. The cotton ones burn very easially. Just one dry hit can ruin the wick.

Yup! That's one of the problems with cotton wicks! The good news is the Pro Tank Sub (mini) has a RBA that's easy to remove (even with juice in the tank) and re-wick. One thing I've found was to make your coil, and wick as large as you can use in the RBA! You will get better juice flow, with less dry hits!
