Lingering smell inside of nose

Hi, second day today (goodbye malboro lights!) I must have vaped 7 times today, 15-20 puff each time. I used a mix of Halo flavors. Tonight going to bed, I can smell a lingering smell identical to what the 'base' smell of Halo is like (I suspect that's PG/VG mix).

It's bloody annoying. I'm trying to clean the inside of my nose now, and I look ridiculous.

Q: is it normal/expected when vaping?

Snorting vapor HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Seems like it would take a lot of exhaling to leave a lingering scent in your nose. Everyone's adjustment period is a little different though. I'm sure it will go away soon. In the meantime, this may help.

Personally I think it's disgusting to stick something that looks like a teapot up your nose, but they are popular. To each his own.

THIS helped me a lot to understand the difference between smoking and vaping. It is indeed a different technique. I, like you, had that lingering scent for the first couple of days. It does go away!
I exhale vapor through my nose every few puffs, and it doesn't irritate my nasal passages or anything. I do find myself wanting to blow my nose if I vape for an extended period of time, just because the vapor gives me that moist feeling in my nose. The smell doesn't stick around though.

Congrats on making the switch! I wish you continued success!

I never had that experience personally, but have heard of it happening before; along with dry mouth, irritated throat and changes in taste. Eventually, I think most of these side effects subside. There is an intial "adjustment" period -IMO- give it sometime.
Although, I still have that damn dry mouth:evil: oh well.....my breating, taste and smell are much better.
Hang in there, and congrats for making the switch!!
