I can't see a battery in your pic so I'm not sure what your concerned about. Parallel you put the + or red wires together and the - or black wire together. There are protection boards you can get too from many places. One I know of is tenergy. You can check their web site I remember seeing information there.

I just broke it down everything seemed to turn out right each battery is testing out at 3.9 right now... so now I just have to put 2 together so from what I am seeing I can just solder a jumper from positive to positive the from negative to negative?

Yes that's exactly what I would have done.

Pardon my unknowing but I'm at work so I can't look by from the battery what exactly is hooked to the tab is it a wire?? So I could remove the flimsy tabs and solder in the can lid so it's more sturdy??? Thanks again for all the help
I can't see the battery either... lol I have taken apart old tv,s and inside they have rf shileds look like square sheet metal lids I save them cause you can cut them up and easily solder to them. Best to tin your battery and tab first keep the heat down.solder your wires to the tab you attach tin it first too. Keep your iron clean and loaded up with fresh soulder.
