Up here in Canada the Vapepocalats has already started. Some vape stores still have older gear and I managed to pickup some Smoant Pasitos and RBAs. Since I have some that won’t be used for years, what is the best way to store them? Fully charged or 3/4 charged? And to they need to be checked periodically?

Storing any battery, 18650, 20700, 21700 or LiPo should never be done at full charge. I have several new 18650's, 20700's and 21700's - - - those I store at 3.6v (storage voltage). Every month or two I check those. If any fall below 3.6v I top them off to 3.6v.

As to LiPo batteries...... the experts recommend storing those at 3.8v and periodically checking them.

You should never store a fully-charged LiPo battery. Instead, it should be brought down to “storage voltage”, which is 3.8 to 3.85 volts per cell. There are a few ways you can achieve this. If the LiPo cells are currently under 3.8-volts then you can charge them up to this level.

I have no means of testing for voltage the Pasito has 5 lights that indicate the battery level. When I first tried them, they were reading 3 lights (out of the box) so is this there optimal range for storage?

If that's how they came out of the box then "perhaps?" and "maybe?" that's their storage level. In other words, I do not know.

The Pasito is a pod mod that has an internal 1100mAh battery. I would be concerned about the quality of the battery and its ability to last years in storage. I don't see pods with internal batteries as a wise choice for the long term.

If you are concerned about a Canadian vapocalypse you might consider purchasing some mods that use external batteries. My stash, mechs and regulated mods, only has devices that use external batteries. I do not own any pod mods.
