The RM2 doesn't get hot. Between the ceramic base and the 2-stroke style air cooling fins on the cap, it manages to stay cool under some pretty intense vaping. I mention this because my experience is that one loses flavor and vapor production with a hot atty. (Haven't tried the A7, get the impression I don't need to.)
