I'm running a mechanical with an AGA-T2 tank with 2 SS wicks and coils. Running at 0.8 ohms on an AW IMR 18490 1100mah.

Using 100% VG Virgin Vapor at 18mg. I put the juice in. Capes good all day then towards the end of the tank/end of the day it gets darker and looses the flavor. I don't taste burning just looses the specifics of the flavor. Any ideas?

My juices do the same. Probably from your SS wick. I'm assuming that you oxidized your wick (micro torch or other high heat device). My wicks tend to get pretty dark after a while, and I'm pretty sure that stuff coming from the wick gets into the juice. My guess is the oxidation combined with burnt juice is what causes the darkness.

I haven't noticed much - if any - drop off in flavor toward the end of the tank.

I think you may have two things going on here. I agree with others that the loss of flavor may well have to do with gunked up coils. The darkening of your liquid, however, is a characteristic of a Genesis-style RBA. The wick gets hot and in turn heats the liquid, which turns it dark. This gets worse the lower the tank gets as you have less and less liquid to cool the wick. Nicotine turns dark when it gets hot. This doesn't effect flavor significantly, just looks kinda icky. Personally I find "lightly" cooked juice to be better - I find the effect is similar to the improvement that comes from steeping juice.

Very nice. Definitely good to know!
