Perhaps someone with experience can offer some insight here.

When a newbie like myself orders some small liquid samples (say 3ml) from a reputable supplier, is it mixed in a 3ml batch? Or a big batch and then poured into a 3ml bottle?

The reason I ask is because I received five 3ml bottles (all different flavors) from a popular supplier. Some of the liquids were flavorful and aromatic. The others had no flavor or aroma whatsoever, but *did* produce good vapor. Yes I thoroughly shook each bottle, and even tried direct dripping to make sure it was not a feeding problem.

A small mixing error on a 1 liter batch might not be noticeable. But a small error on a 3ml batch could have a huge impact on the outcome.

Experiences? Opinions?

Thanks, JJ

I would think they would mix in larger batches and then poured into 3ml bottles. Not only would the errors be highlighted in smaller batches, but larger batches allow for more subtle flavor concentrations. As an example, I have a blackberry flavoring that is completely overpowering when a drop is added to anything less than about a 4ml batch.

It sometimes does take some flavors time to combine however, thus the need for steeping. It would seem possible that a large batch divided into smaller portions before it was completely mixed could yield uneven results.

Couple things. Might be what you're vaping them in. I use both std and lr510s, and also an ego-t. Depending on the flavor,
I may have to change atomizers/devices to bring out the best flavor of a particular liquid.

Second, in a 3 ml bottle, they almost certainly mix in larger batches. Probably fill up a bunch of sample bottles at once, and who
knows how long these may sit. It's most consistent and sure to order from someone who custom mixes. That way, you are
always assured of freshness.

That's an interesting question. Many sites let you pick any PG/VG ratio you want. My guess is they keep the flavored juice mixed at a high nic level and dilute it appropriately based on your nic and PG/VG preferences but, that's a guess.

I'll also add that in my experience with DIY mixing, some flavors just won't get strong. If you try to add enough flavor to really taste it, you wind up with it tasting nasty. Those are better for blending in with another flavor.
