Ok, I'm pretty new to this stuff still, so please bear with me..

I want to know if there's a brand of liquid that actually gives LESS throat hit, or is more smooth. Or if there's any way to make stuff I already HAVE a little less harsh.

Any ideas? I currently have medium strength liquid, which seems about right for me, but if I take a longer drag, it burns.. and I don't like the burn! =/

You do not mention what type of device you are using or what e-liquids and flavors you have tried.

Throat hit is likely dependent on many factors, nicotine concentration and heat being two contributors. Higher nic juices definitely have better throat hit, but so do higher voltage and manual switch devices.

Take shorter draws on your device.

Drink lots of fluids, like water, to keep your mouth from drying out too much.

Try diluting some of the juices you already have. If you dilute any juices you are currently using, you will also dilute the nicotine content. You can use glycerine (with a little distilled water to thin it out) or propolyene glycol (PG) to accomplish this.

Try other liquids. I find Johnson Creek tends to have a lighter flavor.

Hi! Thank you.. and sorry.. like I said, I'm new!

I have both a 901 and an 801, and since I got them from e-smokey treats, I've tried their liquid.. in Apple (high - 18), Strawberry (med - 14), and Watermelon(med - 14). I love the taste of these, but man, I sometimes feel like a newbie analog user all over again when I accidentally take too long of a pull, and I just don't like that!

I've heard JC juice is more mild, but I'm afraid to try it, as I've NOT heard they've fixed their "gunk in the juice" issues for sure yet. And I couldn't get a straight answer from the company either!

"Thanks so much for the email. We are all e-smokers here at Johnson Creek and none of us have experienced an atomizer clogging. We use clean or new carts, fully charged batteries and we do NOT mix our juice with other vendors. We really can’t be held responsible for an atomizer clogging when folks choose to mix our juice with another vendor. We also only refill our carts no more than 6-7 times; going over this number will lead to degradation of the cart. (which leads to atomizers clogging) Hope this info helps."

That's what I got.. and that's all fine and dandy, and great.. but doesn't tell me whether they're still getting goop in juice, or complaints of goop in the juice.

So from what you said, it's fairly safe to assume that the lower nic content juices will give less throat hit? 'cause I think I'm ready to go down to "low" strength already.
