I met Rob, the owner of this store, at a vape meet up here in Austin earlier this year. It was my first and I chose the right table because Rob is a wealth of information and always willing to share that info. Seriously, just a good guy.
I've been in his store a few times. My husband adores the super nice carto tanks he carries and his chiller line (esp the strawberry one). While I like some of the liquids, they aren't my go-to vapes (and like Rob says, hey... whatever keeps you off cigarettes) - although Forgiveness is something I find myself reaching for at least a few times per week.
I'd been eying the Empire mods for a while, wanting to get a mechanical, but wanting to make sure I got a good quality one and learn how to properly use and care for it. After visiting the store earlier today to get help with my husband's tank, I was, again, lusting over the Empire. I gave it a few hours of thought and decided... screw it. I'm going to just buy it already.
Headed over with my best girlfriend and came home with a gorgeous purple Empire.
That's besides the point though. ANY TIME I've gone in this store. No matter if I'm spending $10 on some juice, $250 on a device or just stopping in for a question, the folks there are always 100% attentive and make me feel like they have all the time in the world to talk to me and help me learn. I never feel pressured to buy anything. Always helpful, always willing to crack a joke and a serious heart of gold. You can tell that this is a business for them, but their heart really is in helping people. Everything there is higher-end, admittedly, but I never feel it's overpriced. It comes with the knowledge that if something goes wrong, they'll go to whatever lengths necessary to fix the problem or help you figure out what's going on.
The store itself is very clean and uncluttered. There's not a humongous selection, but the right things are there and there's enough of a selection to find what you are looking for. Everything there is absolutely gorgeous, the selection of items are amazing, really. I always lust after the beautiful use of colors and the way everything is laid out so cleanly. The store is about vaping and it shows.
This is what vaping is all about and LX does it well. Gold star for these folks. Thanks, Rob & crew. You guys are awesome.
