I'm noticing more new vapers joining with concerns about the FDA deeming and the need to stock up on some items. Someone who is new to the scene probably has no idea what they might need to keep vaping should things get ugly. Perhaps we can make a list of things needed for them (and ourselves) to help take the pressure off? Maybe some YouTube videos as well to learn from. I can only speak for myself when I say that when I first started vaping DIY, building, batteries and everything else was the furthest from my mind and was content with my little mod and tank with coils that I could buy. I quickly taught myself everything I needed I know (thanks FDA) to sustain the vaping style I am accustomed to. My main concern is people trying to do things that they have no idea of and possibly get hurt.

EDIT: The most important thing for any new vaper is to EDUCATE yourself!!!

You are right a list would be wonderful!
I just get scared if someone is not able to get say a coil and just wrap something up and fire it  There so much to learn it's almost overwhelming, but once the effort to learn gets started it all makes sense. I fear most accidents will happen after the regs. are in effect. :(

I've seen a list for beginners on vaping but not one for the fda band.
I think it mostly nic, attys, and mods because everything else can be bought afterwards

I am not sure how a list is going to help. It is pretty scary to think about people jumping into stockpiling and DIY since the deeming that are new to vaping or would never have otherwise. I just hope that everyone will take the time to learn all about their gear and safe handling of nicotine and batteries, the information is out there, tons of Youtube videos, blogs, groups and forums.

ETA: I am going to be honest and say it has been bothering the heck out of me seeing all of the recommendations to go and buy 100mg/ml nic to all of the brand new to vapers joining the forum a of late, most of which are still learning how to change a blister pack coil in their attys.... just seems irresponsible.

I agree, I just don't want to see anyone get hurt. All the information is readily available, for now anyways, just hope people will start educating themselves.

I recommend stockpiling the things that are likely to go away.

Nicotine base
Spare mods.
Spare RDAs abd RTAs.
Flavors for eJuice
Possibly a few hundred feet resistance wire.

They will learn the same way you, I and everyone else here has. they will read all the old threads pertaining to they're current interest and ask questions.

I learned everything from the forums and youtube (realize you have to be discriminating in what you choose to believe on youtube),coil building, diy ejuice, mech mod/ battery saftey. They will survive exactly the way every vaper before them has as long as the are willing to research.

Exactly. Can you imagine how intimidating it is for that "wet behind the ears" (not meant to be demeaning, just drawing a picture) to come on here today and read all this prepping info, just friggin mind blowing.
As well intentioned as all the instructions are I think at some level we all have to realize that not all the newb's are gonna be able to get prepped for the worst case scenario.

I've been learning about diy since December, I'm just now ready to start trying to make my own juice. I agree if I went out in November, and bout nic@100mg I most likely would have made myself sick!

Couldn't agree more.

Honestly its 90% PG and while I don't use it for mouthwash and hand lotion its pretty harmless stuff.

If the food stamp program was canceled and the people from downtown where coming to steal my TV because they were hungry and I had to weaponize quickly I have alot of kewl stuff that can be used to kill humans. Bleach, gas for the lawnmower, Drano!!!!!! My daughters nail polish remover can gas out a stadium.

10% nic (100mg) isn't on the list of badazz stuff in the average house.

Guy here vapes 50mg allday everyday. 100mg will be so harsh you ain't gonna vape very much.

Go to Tractor Supply and get a syringe for 80 cents. Get the 3ml size. Use only 30ml empty bottles. Don't ever put more then one syringe full in a bottle and your at 10mg. 10mg will never kill you.

IMO telling someone who doesn't know anything about making ejuice that 100 mg of nicotine is not bad that is safe is not being responsible.

I don't.

People are free to toughen up and handle nic.

Or trust that the government is here to help them and everything will be ok.

Or quit cold turkey.

Or smoke.

Life is full of choices. All we are doing is throwing information out there. What people do with it is on them.
