Vapers living with non vapers and deeming regs

Knew it. That's why my hubby can play video games as long as he likes. He does for me what he knows I Hate.
My wife kind of supports my vaping hobby.
She doesn't understand it, doesn't really appreciate it when I bring a new mod or tank home, and hates vanilla custard. Despite all that, she tolerates it and makes a real effort to at least soften her opinions on the matter. Can't ask for more than that.
In return, I try to limit the amount of time I spend DIYing or playing with new coils even when I don't need to. Oh, and I vape outside. She really doesn't like vanilla custards. :headshake:

And you're still married to her?
Of course! She makes great chocolate pudding and buys the aerosol cheese that I like. Who could ask for more?
My favorite flavor is vanilla custard. It is the only flavor that I won't vape in the car with hubby. Fortunately I have several other flavors that I enjoy for those times. VC tastes good but apparently it doesn't smell very good to those that aren't vaping it.
My hubby is the same. Sometimes he even shares some of the provaping stuff that I post on FB. Sometimes he even signs those things that I send around.
When I first got upset about the deeming, he checked it out and said it doesn't sound that bad. At first look, it doesn't. I told him about the PMTA's that would have to be filed and the cost it would entail. I told him about how the date rolls back to 2007 and nothing that we use currently would be allowed. He went back and started digging in the regulations. He got .......
He said, just today, that he agrees that there should be no selling to minors... I told him that 48 states already have that on the books. I said redundant much? He said then how are kids getting ecigs? Then thought about what he just said and realized it's the same way they get cigarettes.
He also agreed with my point of view that I would rather them experiment with ecigs than cigarettes. Most times it is 0 nic that they are using. Once the fad wears off, they aren't addicted to the many chemicals that make up the addictive properties of traditional cigarettes.

The only time I really hear anything from my hubby about vaping is when he says what stinks? LOL I guess some flavors smell better than others ! I mostly vape desert flavors so they are rarely stinky

When ever you go to a vape convention, the whole place stinks of vanilla and tobacco blends. It doesn't help vapings image! It wouldn't be bad if it smelled like vanilla or custard but it doesn't. Not even remotely. Instead it smells like, well imagine what it would be like if the Orcs from the Lord of the Rings all got hammered on Stout beer, ate super spicy mexican food mixed with deviled eggs and got explosive flatulence.
