I want to thank the OP for the great idea and work gathering those mod options.
I always saw clones as a way to pre test an authentic product but the truth is that I couldn't justify to myself the price some modders charge for their products and I would just stick to the clones.

However, this thread has shown me that authentic and reasonably priced is possible.

That being said, I'm drooling over the Nanos right now and this will be definitely my next purchase.

Thank you

Regards
Tony

I second and third the thanks to the OP for coming up with this thread! Finally a good resource for consumers looking for authentic mods at an affordable price. My 2 cents the MM Vapors Nanos is amazing!

I dig this thread! Awesome. There are all types of vapers & there should be all types of mods too.

I see a lot of call it envious ppl out there & it can be fun to covet a high end piece, to a degree.

But for 100.00, you should be able to get a rock solid nice looking mod. I think it's good for the community.

Nicely done.

I went through my clone phase, some were good and some were bad. I don't have any of them anymore, I either sold them or gave them to friends. I am by no means a clone-hater and believe anybody can buy whatever they want. Having said that though I don't see the point of buying a clone when for only a fraction more you can buy a first rate authentic. Before the rabid clone-haters or clone-lovers pipe in and derail this very informative thread let me state again to each their own

Found this awesome 26650 mod on Vaporized Nation. Looks pretty awesome for the price :vapor:

This thread proves what i have said all along - the smart mod makers will realize the future is putting out a quality original for $100 or less. They will be very popular. I hope people continue to add more options that are currently available to this thread.

I agree 100%

I'll also add a mod to this list and a piece of personal experience.

Mod (No experience with it just wanted to contribute something) $95.00

Experience

I think the best mod you can get in this range is the Super-T Workhorse, an employee of mine has one it's superior to so many mods on the market. That being said the best mod I have personally bought is an Atmizoo Roller for $100 in the classifieds. It's not new but in this price range too.

Keep me upto date on this please.
I have a hamoriko from mini ecig coming in about a week. made in Israel 50 for 18350 and 75 with all three tubes. titanium to come 84. if its anything like my microstick, and I'm sure it will be, should be a winner.
Would love to see this in 18650 mode and in titanium. I love carrying titanium around all day everyday.

Wow I am glad I found this thread! :D

I just began compiling a list of inexpensive mech mods I would like to buy. Now that I am more familiar with mods, I'd like to move away from clones and toward authentics if I can. I wanted to purchase an authentic originally, but when it seems like your only options for an affordable authentic are either Sigelei or Smok mods (which I have no issue with, they are just not my cup of tea), or go digital, it's a bit off-putting.

Thank you everyone above for your suggestions! And I would like to add a couple more - in addition to the Hamoriko, Todd has also reviewed the Rat Vape Bomb mod and the Red Rod. Both of these appear to be very well designed.

The Red Rod mod must be purchased through the owner's fb page, he does not have a website. He makes them in small batches, it looks like $70 for an 18350 mod including shipping (he also makes 18500 and 18650 versions now), and you may have to wait a month or two. A quick google search will pull that up. I like this one for its brushed copper finish and thin top cap and switch design.

The Rat Vape Bomb can be found here for about $80 plus shipping: Original branded Mods - ANGELFIREMODS
I like the unique switch design on this mod. Angelfire also sells the Apache mod for around $96.

Received my brass Sage mod today (purchased thanks to this thread), and for $89 it is a fantastic buy! Very solid, threads are smooth, looks beautiful. The only negative for some might be the button: it's pretty stiff with a longish throw, but I can set it down without it firing even though it's quite heavy. The weight I'm going to have to get used to since I've been using the aluminum Titan for the past year and a half. Beyond Vapes shipping was crazy fast too. Ordered Sunday morning, received Tuesday morning. All in all, I'm super happy with my purchase. Thanks for this thread!

Hmmmmm...posting this as a subtle hint to any US mod makers out there. Something similar to the Kato in the works? I want an indestructable mechanical box mod and have decided I will not buy any more clones. So anything on the horizon that will accomadate RDA's but isn't a bottom feeder? I put that last part because I already am aware of the famed Reo Grand and it is firmly on my "going to buy list" ;) I just really like that Kato style mod and was curious if there is anything else like that out there, or soon to be out there, that is made in the USA and is RDA compatible and under $100.

I guess the advantage to already having several fine devices is that since I really don't "need" another one, I can be very specific about what I want next :)
