It doesn't get posted or said much BUT even with magnets added into the nemmy switch it is still a completely different switch imo

The nemmy magnet upgrade replaces the spring and there for the crunch is the large open area they sit in not holding them in place.

The stingray has magnets held in place by parts secured with threaded items. Here are pictures and maybe a Better idea.

I've held a pretty crummy black copper Stingray clone. Felt and looked cheap. Having also held a real one, I'm turned off by the clones. A night and day difference.

I have both an hcigar SS Nemesis and a FT SS Nemesis. Both mods work fantastic, especially with magnet upgrades. I'll take what I know will be the minority opinion and say that I like the fit and finish of the FT Nemesis a bit more.

This is just the thing I've been looking for since I've wanted to know why everyone says that the Stingray switch is so much better than the Nemesis switch. Unfortunately I can't see the pics :(

V1k1ng,
On the Kayfun lite +....I have the real deal, but have been hesitant to purchase a clone because I'm sub ohming ( .61 with cotton wicking)....

After you comfortable enough with the tobeco for sub ohms ? Is build quality solid??

I am not sub ohming with my clone but the build quality is solid on the Tobeco. In general, the Tobeco is cheaper and gets better reviews.

That is pretty useful info!! to bad you can't use (and purchase) the stingray switch on the nemmie...would probably take away the crunchiness of the switch that everyone seems to complain about.

I have a brass Nemesis from FastTech, copper Hcigar Nemesis w/ FatDaddy magnet upgrade and a brass Stingray from Angelcigs. The best one is the brass Nemmy from FastTech with original springs, has been compared to authentic by a local vape shop owner. All three switches must be cleaned as best you can when you get them.

I did Willy's fix with the springs Nemesis switch fix? ;) - YouTube and shortened the throw with a spacer. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-my-fix-nemesis-button-how-shorten-throw.html

Vaperev cautions using the Stingray or any mod that has cut-outs with certain Kayfuns.

Picked up a black Kayfun lite + clone, the EHPro version. The airflow adjustment screw has a bad habit of adjusting itself. Went to unscrew it from my Stingray clone and couldn't. The screw had backed itself out enough to catch on the top cap cutout. Required 2 slip lock wrenches, a friend's help and cushioning to keep the wrench threads from mangling Kayfun or Stingray. I've now removed the screw which I didn't want to but I'm not going to do the wrench thing again.

Moral: They are doing a favor with that warning.

BlueBishop, with a Suprt T in your hands, you are well taken care of. An amazing gift.

Which one did you receive?

I have a two Simplicities and two Precise Pluses. They are by far the best mods that I own.

I tried the Nemesis twice....and didn't like it. They hit just fine, but the switch was terrible (these were authentics btw).

Over time, at least twice a day, the switch would walk, the lock ring was fussy, and a stamped and pressed switch cap in a mod of that price was inexcusable.

I am no clone advocate, but the Nemesis deserves to be cloned. A beautiful device, I am sure the switch looked good on paper, but sub par in practice. The fit and finish isn't up to the price tag either. IMO, any device that incorporates a rice pin in it's design shouldn't cost more than $80 for an authentic.

Hcigar copper nemesis is my favorite clone. I have quite a nice collection of authentic mods ( Chi You, Gus kiss, Gus lord , Red copper Stingray,, ) bought one Copper Nemesis, liked it so much that I bought 2 more and these mods are my every day devices. The only thing I did to make them perfect was to take the switch apart and polish it.

I use one for 19350, one for 18490 and one for 18650 battery´s depending of what i´m doing. Fantastic mods.

I have the 18500 version, I also picked up a stainless steel hcigar nemesis, and im pretty impressed with that as well. My girlfriend has the brass version and I've been pretty impressed with both nemesis clones. But for simplicity, construction, and ease of use, it is hard to beat super T.

Have a nemesis clone and a stingray clone.

Stingray hands down. Both of mine are SS. The switch and floating pin are deal breakers. Plus they never got the nemesis size right. Its battery picky IMO. It will take whatever, but then the switch suffers excess protrusion and sucks even worse. It was my first mod and I liked it before I used things like the atom, or stingray.

I buy clones because they get put in pockets and dropped. The lady destroys them quite readily. Cranking them together, then using things like pliers to get them open. I gave up trying to even protest. She just doesn't care...

Nemesis ended up in a vice today. Bare metal. Its trashed. She had it one day.

RIP nemesis.

Nemesis easily, I do like my hcigar SR X & Brass SR look wise better but all my nemesis does everything better with convenience. Less fiddling, better positive pin that fits all. My SR X floating pins dnt cnnect on everything. Better switch. all stingray clones i have & or tried is the worse switch i've used.

Im a big fan of the nemesis. So much so that I bought an authentic after using clones for a while. Never have used an authentic stingray but my clones took just as much work (less a magnet upgrade) as my nemesis clones to iron out.

Gotta fix the crunchy switch in both by polishing and tweaking. Some clones are better than others.
