Hey Guys, Wanted to post this in the New Member's Forums for new people to the community, but looks like I can't post there anymore, so I'll leave this info here for anyone interested in it. I'll be covering the more popular "Box" type Mods, not mech, since I don't use one it would be inappropriate for me to give info on something I don't use.

DISCLAIMER: BE SAFE AND ALWAYS TEST YOUR coils PRIOR TO USE. Also make sure that you know about Ohm's Law and Battery Safety before using or purchasing some of these devices. Always be safe and think about yourself and those around you when using these devices.

VV/VW List: (NAME) - (Max Wattage), (Minimum Coil Resistance)

IPV2 - 50 watt MAX, .3ohm Minimum
IPV2S - 60-70 watt MAX (from factory and depends if you got a newer or older release), .2ohm Minimum
IPV3 - 150 watt MAX, .15ohm Minimum
Sigelei 30W - 30 watt MAX, .5ohm Minimum
Sigelei 50W - 50 watt MAX, .2ohm Minimum
Sigelei 100W - 100 watt MAX, .15ohm Minimum
Vaporfi VOX 50W - 50 watt MAX, .2ohm Minimum
Vaporshark dna 30 - 30 watt MAX, .5ohm Minimum
hana modz v3 - 20-30 watt MAX (Depends on the Battery Used.), .3ohm Minimum
ITaste MVP 2 - 11 watt MAX, .8ohms (Will fire SOMETIMES, personally tested, will not fire at anything under 7.) Stable at 1.2ohms << Recommended
ITaste VTR - 15 watt MAX, .6ohms (Will not fire under .6, gives code.)
ZNA - 30 watt MAX, .3ohm Minimum

There are more out there and if you want, I can add devices you want to the list (after researching and making sure data is correct.). Hope this helps some people. All information was gathered from the Mod Creators Home Sites. Itaste and ZNA information was gathered from ECF's Verified Sellers, and numbers were compared across 3-4 sites to verify correct information.

USA. State: Inebriated.
FYI, the IPV3 just received an update. It can now fire up to 165W and reads ohms with double-zeros (ie: hundredths/1.25 instead of 1.3). How accurate it is, I don't know, and whether that changes the lowest firing resistance, I also don't know.

I haven't updated my IPV3 yet just because I'm expecting some kinks/another update when they realize those kinks. Also I don't know if I'm really a fan of the double-zero resistance readings, because I feel like slight fluctuations in coil resistance might negatively affect my vape (if it tries to change voltage from one toke to the next, which it already attempts to do).

I do agree, however, there are a ton of people (from what I've seen in a few of the forums) that are juut buying devices but knowing nothing about them and trying to sub ohm with them. A lot of the problems I started seeing were arising from the release of the Aspire Atlantis and people thinking they could just pop it on any ego twist and crank out clouds, or try and put it on their mvp 2 and so on. So these people who are already ill informed, wouldn't be using sites like Steam Engine, because they haven't gotten that far in their research. So in order to inform people, who tend to either creep the forums for answers or are looking for answers, I figured a post like this was needed.

I'm big on safety, and I see more and more people vaping unsafely in the real world (people using stacked mods while out in public and so forth and so on.). I have a daughter and I don't want to be out and about and some uninformed vaper is using a dangerous setup and then it blows up near or around her. People need to take safety serious and if they are going to do somehting unsafe they need to do it while alone and not near people.

I'm a bit confused here.
I have the IPV2, and it's a 50W box, the IPV 1 was 35 W. Is that what you are talking about?
