After trying a Vamo, I decided that maybe tube style APV's aren't for me (also the weigth to me is a deal breaker). So I am trying to make a list of different small form VV APV's:

What I'd like to find (by order of importance, call me crazy lol):
* under $100
* USB charging
* small form factor (mostly in height and thickness) under 100mm/4"
* VV (no need for 6v, just a bit of change to test with)
* Battery charge check
* lightweigth (vamo was too heavy, am ok with plastic)
* Easy to stand (aka flat bottom, long thin tube are annoying to me)
* Ohm check
* good battery (minimum 650mah would be good but anything higher would be awesome)
*********************************

GreenXL:
* Price: $60
* vv 3.0, 3.7, 4.0v (limited to those only which isn't great but works for me)
* 850 mah battery (not great but passthrough)
* nice LED screen + features
* SMALL form factor: 96mmx35mmx15mm
* retractable cartos (limits the type of cartos you can use (no BIG tank system)
* charges through usb
* passthrough
* easy to stand
* don't know if it has protections (short circuit and such)

Gripper:
Can't usb charge so no (unless there is such version out there then it fits almost everything). I know it's stupid but I don't want to have to charge batteries outside the mod, just my personal preference otherwise it has most of what I want.

eVic:
Nice but heavy and tall, I know that's gonna rub ppl the wrong way but I'd love to see it in plastic casing mini tube option. I just want something small lightweight.

MVP:
Very nice and all but still a bit big & heavy, love the battery mah's though.

vv-PCCP: HEAVY, can't stand, nice battery though.

VMOD: nice form factor but outside batteries but no VV.

CleanVapes Personal Vaporizer: awesome but no VV + $200 lol

Regular Spinner/Twist Batteries: best option as far as cost/size/battery mah's just annoying to stand even the Fat/Mega 16mm ones.

Revolution v2: also not a vv but great form factor.

PS: one reason for all my requirements is I am an at home dad and I have 2 daughters (2 yrs and 1 yr old) and I want it as stealthy as possible + the retractable from the GreenXL makes it safer to me. I don't vape around them but I want to cover all the angles.

Let me know if you know others that could fit in that category

I have the MVP and honestly I love this thing. It does have some weight to it, but got over that after a day or so. As far as size it fits nicely in my hand and love the ease of use.

Yeah the GreenXL, Reg Twist/Spinner and MVP are my top 3 choices so far. The MVP because of it's form, easy to stand and battery life, just a bit tall with the added clearos/carto on top of that. I wish they would make a v2 without that annoying ring on top like an ECF member did (modded it with a flush 510 connector).

The eVic would be nice too, being aluminum makes it lighter and the hope to see a 18350 tube soon + firmware upgrades to make it better.

You are going to have to make some consessions with at least a couple of your requirements, as there is no "one" device that fits all of them. Of the devices that you listed, I would pick the Smoktech V.V. Gripper, but then I have one and love it. No, it doesn't have a passthru, but the 18650 2000 mah battery that lasts me almost a day and a half should make up for it. (You realize that any built-in battery has a limited number of charges to it, then the entire device is worthless?) It's stealthy, it is smaller than a small pack of analogs and can fit inside of a cupped hand with only the drip tip of the juice carrying device showing. It's plastic, so is extremely lightweight. It sits upright or flat easily. Checks both ohms and battery voltage. Very clear LED display. On/off button.

There is also the L Rider Robust, a small v.v. tube mod. Rider Robust VV Device - Red [703_Red] : L Js E-Smokes, Electronic Cigarettes

This is very true, however I think I would prefer giving up a bit of tank storage going with the GreenXL. It does bug me a lot that the battery is hardwired in there, I would have preferred something like the eVic: standalone battery but usb charging ability. Still a toss between a lot of them, what to give in... I almost ordered an eVic earlier thinking it'll do till they get the mini tubes out but didn't...damn heavy/ier tube mods.
