there are a couple of things i don't get concerning suppliers and paypal. first, there certainly doesn't appear to be that much concern being articulated from suppliers. nor does there appear to be any word coming out of the ECA on this issue as well. are we not getting the whole story on why there have only been a few ecig merchants hit thus far? also, there are two things that come to mind as an end user wanting to buy product. first, paypal doesn't accept all cred/deb cards and appear to be declining more transactions from what i've read on this forum. combine this with what appears to be an escalation of merchant accounts being frozen and i'd say that suppliers need to rethink their business model.

when i began vaping i'd use a cc to purchase through paypal. i then tried with my debit card and was declined. i've made a bunch of internet purchases with my debit card and have never had a problem, until using it for ecigs. don't know if there's a correlation, or just something one might find in the cayce book of the arcane. because of this, i don't do business with paypal, and i'm not going to establish an account with them. why should i do business with a company that appears to be screwing with the ecig world?

unlike some, i take a dim view of paypal's practices. they're worried about liability? my ..... they're concerned about perception and chose this market to screw with because it's relatively small and the issue of ecigs is fresh and growing. paypal chose the side it thinks will prevail. you can be charitable to a corporation that doesn't give a rip about you, but when they curtail the flow of your goods and finances, you do so at your own peril.

Yes they're cool with handling payments (according to their customer service) for just about any kind of transaction, but they have a fatal flaw. They have a $1000 daily limit and $2500 monthly limit. If you sell less than that, than you're good to go, their fees are lower than anywhere you'll find.

lol Mark.. no harm no foul.. between forums and my Xbox I'm starting to think I am a guy.. everyone always assumes so.. and we all know the power of suggestion right?? :p

Just a tip for those guys that don't want to talk to me (and I won't hate you if you don't ;) ) make sure you read the fine print REAALLY carefully on those merchant offers. There are so many shady things in this industry it's like walking through a mine field looking for rocks, you never know which is a rock and which is a mine 8-o

Credit cards are safe, maybe safer than Paypal. Paypal has access to my checking account, which bothers me. I don't like the fact that if I can sell $1,000 worth of stuff, I can only take out $500.00 per month of MY money. Yes, they can lift the limit, but it took them a week to do it one time.

I had a Visa card. Over 20 years, they have called me several separate times about possible fraudulent activity on my cc. They claim I'm not responsible for those charges.
I have a Discover card now, and they claim 100% fraud protection. I don't think you can get any safer than that.

On the plus side I had the limit lifted on a donation account I run in about 20 minutes last week. So they are atleast better on that part.

I was trying to pay for an order with Ruyan Direct, and Paypal would only give me the options of using a Paypal Credit Card or e-check. I couldn't use my Paypal balance or direct transfer, and I know it has worked for Ruyan Direct in the past.
Just placed an order through Paypal balance transfer at RuyanDirect, Walrus. Must have been a glitch. I would just try again.

Ebay never sold ecigs,
One guy, got them on somehow, he got around the system.
I tried listing ecigs on ebay like 3 months ago, they do not allow, anything that involves or deals with cigarettes. There are how many suppliers.
there are how many that got canned, the percentage is small, do the math,
trust me I dont like paypal.
but theres no sense to worry about this until we have more evidence, like a bunch of suppliers losing accounts.

I just baught some juice and cartridges last nite and have got conf. from pp that it's on the way. My concern is since I live in California and purchase my product's from San Diego from Monique @ ( Widows etc.. ) that if she gets closed down I hope there is some where else in Ca. that I can buy from. I just emailed her a few minutes ago and just waiting on her reply. It only takes two days at most for my stuff to arrive.

I don't keep any cash in my pp acct. since I use my dc it's taken out as a debit right away. At most if I keep any in my pp acct. it's 40 bucks max. The rest satys in my bank. So if any one wants to do that then they won't have to worry about them freezing their cash for six mos a few weeks or whatever pp wants to do.

Is there any other place in california that supplies e-cig products ? please pm me with the 411 thx. Vape on... ;)

If you paid no need to worry on this order. I would suggest you call all places around your local area, and see if any supply e-cig supplies. This is probably just a temp thing, but you never know.
Thx and what place's would I call? I have no idea who would supply ecig products since I have only baught from her. So I would have no clue who to call any suggestion's. ? I'm really naive about who does and where from in ca. :D

Not to try to take any business away from Monique, because she rocks, imo... but if you live in CA and buy in CA you have to pay sales tax... if you buy out of state, you don't. As a backup for you, I'd recommend Rocky Mountain Vapor.
