The mini 2.1 does in fact take 18490's. I just got my LP grand in today with a rm2 and I'm in vaping heaven at the moment. It's a great little combo. I've been on mechs for a while now aside from a venture into dna20 land for a brief stint and I can tell you this reo rocks. It's still brand new but so far it's the best vape I've ever had. The flavor the rm2 kicks out is fantastic. I hope you end up getting a reo. I've had lots of mods and this could be the last one I buy (aside from another reo).

AngiBe. You would love a Mini 2.1. They're little powerhouses......and soooooo cute! If your juices are similar or relatively compatible, you won't have much/any trouble changing them out. I just blow out the tube between juices, and other than a couple of "blended" hits, it's fine. Sometimes I change out the wick, but not usually. I don't mind a few blended hits because my juices are all pretty similar. Get some extra 3 ml bottles when you order. :)

Speaking from experience, if you like Alice in Vapeland consider ordering one of her sampler packs. The 3ml bottles are the same ones used in the reo, so you can get them for free and filled with yummy juice. I put mine directly into my Reo after dripping enough to make room for the tube, and when I was done the labels peeled off easily and I gave them a bath and voila! Lots of extra bottles. =)

Hey Hey Hey another Hoosier in the house. I have a VV Woodvil and 2 VV Grands, all are very nice but I use regular Grands most of the time. Mostly because of my work I need the ruggedness of the Grand. One of my VV Grands has to go back to the spa for some treatment because of a drop. They stay at home now. If you're set on a VV device the Grand with a kick should come out later this year it also has a spacer to take the place of the Kick when it fails, so you won't be without a Reo. The LP Reo is a very good choice be sure to order the LP RM2 (Reomizer) too. If you want to try a VV Woodvil let me know and I'll look you up when I visit my brother in Indy sometime.

Cool and thanks! If all goes well with the one I get, I guarantee I'll want two anyway so VV Grand w/a kick would be sweet. And lucky you on the Woodville! Those things are gorgeous...true works of art.

And thanks again everyone for all the great advise and help. I guess I didn't realize until I started digging into this ALL the REO options and it gets a little overwhelming. Especially since I originally picked items that were discontinued and the Woodville which is special order.

This might sound overkill at first, but seeing as this is how it works for almost everybody here, grab a pair of Reos and RM2s. Set one up for the higher resistance and one for lower resistance for your different juices. If you are rolling more than 2 juices, use the Reo that has the resistance you want for that juice, and just swap the wick out for a new one (about one minute of work - a lot of people change their wicks daily anyway) and dry burn the coil.

Like it said. You might think this is excessive, but if you are like myself and a lot of other folks here, you are going to end up selling your Provari and all of the rest of your gear anyway, so the overall investment won't be all that much, and your Reos will last forever.

I personally run 2 Reos - one filled with Pluid at .4-6 ohms and one with Boba's at .8-1 ohm. I have never wanted for a different solution. The minimal hassle of learning to coil the RM2, which is a REALLY easy platform to build on, the benefits as far as vapor and flavor are a game changer as far as a satisfying vape goes. Further to that point, I usually only change my coil around once a month, and change wicks every couple of days using sterile cotton. So in essence, all you have to do is change batteries and fill your bottle. In this regard, the Reo platform is the easiest, most maintenance free platform I have used. I was a Provari and carto tank guy for a while before discovering the Reo, and the Reo changed my life as far as performance, lack of leaking, and general ease of setup.

If you buy one and find it isn't for you, Reos generally go within 24 hours in the classies at something approaching the original purchase price.

Welcome to Reoville and happy shopping.

AngiBe, I wandered over here from provari land about 3 weeks ago and just a little while ago I ordered my 3rd reo. The reo paired with the rm2 is absolutely the best vape I have experienced in my 2.5 years of vaping.

Cool!! Now, I'm not going to say I'm jumping off my ProVari wagon...I have 2 and love them. Plus, those 2 and a REO lets me rotate more juices which will be heaven sent.

Reading stuff from the links above re: RM2 and the Reomizer. Are these the same, but the RM2 is just a newer model or am I missing something here? I know I'm getting the LP REO so I just want to make sure I get something that fits on that. I prefer a tighter draw, warmer vape so I hope one of these fits the bill. I HATE airy draws (Like anything similar to ProTanks)

The REO website is slightly outdated and vague.

The Reomizer was first then came the Reomizer 2. We have just shortened the name to RM2. I still have my 2 ProVari but I use the Reos most of the time. My ProVari sits next to my laptop and gets an occasional hit when I want to hit the juice that's in it the battery lasts about a month or more. Just to reiterate if you choose the LP Grand or Mini make sure to get the LP RM2.

Thanks. Glad you pointed out there's a LP RM2, I would have over looked that.

I like a tighter warm draw as well - I use a RM2 with stock air hole, and anywhere between .08 and 1.0 ohm 28 guage micro coil and a wee bit of cotton.

Angi - we were all noobs when we got our first REO - so don't feel like you're asking dumb questions. We really don't mind here, answering questions, so don't be afraid to ask!

@Angi - absolutely what rabernet said! Welcome and ask your questions. We are happy to help!

PS: Love my Provari but it doesn't get a lot of use anymore since I got my Reo and RM2. Just saying, the VV is nice but not really necessary. I no longer am hunting for the perfect vape. I found what works for me and am as happy as a pig in mud.

However, we will need pictures once you have made your decision(s).

There I go again, posting before reading all the responses.

Got my shopping list put together-if anyone see something I don't need or need to add, please let me know

LP Mini 2.1
4- 3mls bottles
2- 3ml feed tubes
LP RM2 (but can't find it on webpage-all I see is LP reomizer or RM2 but it doesn't state LP??)
2 extra post screws for RM2

And do i need extra orings and if so which size 1.5 or 1mm?

Lastly, is the silver aluminum button cover the only option? anyone use that?
