Little more complex, but just as fun

I've wanted to make one of these for months but couldn't find the Tenergy DC-DC board. Many thanks to Java_AZ for his help in locating one on Ebay and the AC power supply.

Cedar box finished with Tung Oil
Spare GGTS parts to make the passthru
Radio Shack and carto tube for the cable connections

Runs off a couple of 25500 batteries I bought by mistake  or via AC connection using a camera power supply. Storage for stuff in the vials and inside the box.....love to leave it on the coffee table when I'm not using it; people say "WTF is that?"

Oh my god Para!!!, that is the coolest, steam punk esk thing I have ever seen!!! you are a genius...

I'am so building one of those, just a thought, another option for the cable, you could go to a music store and pick up a braided electric guitar patch cable...they make them in these real cool retro colours and materials with stainless or brass connectors, in fact, pick up a 1/4" female stereo jack for the box so you can simply unplug it for storage.

Again, brilliant!

Thanks....but I've done nothing brilliant; just followed folks who did. 5cardstud came up with the concept and make a REALLY nice wood box passthru...then Java_AZ figured out how to short out the 1a limiter on the USB connection.

I'm bummed that Tenergy quit making the board because it really does have a lot of retro//punk possibilities and is perfect for our purposes.
