So I'm rocking some oft he new 510s with a SS ming drip tip. I've been having some trouble with dry spots and lack of vapor for some reason and can't figure it out.

I'll drip 6 drops onto the bridge of a brand new atty slowly, letting each one absorb. Then I'll wait a minute, place the drip tip on, and start vaping. I get about 1 hit maybe two until it tastes like I have to redrip, so I drip 3-4 more in and the vapor seems weak and it only lasts a few pulls, how many are y'all geting?

I've tried a few different drip tips and 510s and keep running into this problem first with 70/30 pg/vg then 50/50. The first two of these attys I had worked awesomely so I'm trying to figure out what's going wrong now. Any tips would be amazing as I'm a 306 dripper primarily and it seems like its different.

Thanks :) Meanwhile I'll be rocking Isaacs clear single coil carto, those things are amazing too!

yeah... i was initially thinking maybe too much juice because no vapor is also a flooding symptom.

but Isaac knows his product...

btw, the i06 1.8 is rocking a VV bottom feeder i have at low voltages... in case anyone wonders about i06 on a feeder.. I like it because imo, they don't seem to hold a lot of juice and are hogs too... but that is a recipe for great vaping... as i was getting tired of dripping every few hits.

Under normal circumstances, 5-7 drops to prime, try and if too dry, add 1-2 drops more. All should be fine. A partially flooded atty will mimic a dry addy. Knowing the delta is key. Dripping to the side vice the bridge pays dividends and hence why my DTs are designed to allow the juice to flow to the side of the atty into the main wick vice the bridge.

I know what you mean. I usually take 3 or 4 and then pick out the one that's not blurry. I'm not real camera savvy. Oh heck I'm not camera savvy at all.

Every camera has a minimum focus distance. Macros are also very sensitive to camera shake and need a fast shutter speed. Also, use a high aperture to get more area in focus.
