Hi guys, I seem to be getting little to no vapor production no matter if I build 1 coil or a triple coil build on my Lotus clone RDA, doesnt matter if I make it 4 wraps or if I make it with 8 wraps with 28g kanthal wire. I also have a kayfun that I also get little to no results in, and I make my coils compressed btw.. This is what im using:

Maraxus clone mod
Lotus clone RDA or Kayfun lite plus v2
3.7v Samsung ICR18650 battery
28g Kanthal wire
50/50 pg/vg juice

You can get decent clouds even with 50/50 if all your other ducks are in a row

:vapor:

I agree, when I vape The Virus 65PG/35VG it can produce a good bit of vapor on the right build. But on the same build with Sure Bert 80VG/20PG the clouds are much larger. If someone wants more vapor bumping VG is an easy way to do it on any build even if it's not optimal.

What ohm's and diameter of coil?

And if you want clouds bump up that VG%.

I think its consideered a micro coil, im using a screw driver to make the coils then i compress theem while theyre hot. I use cotton for wick and put it this way, my single coil cartomizer that came with the maraxus is putting out more vapor than my build. I just cant seem to figure out where the problem is.

Okay so your are using a mech, What are your Ohms at?

not even sure, ive been told by some that I dont even need an ohm meter, Im thinking of buying one regardless, also no matter how many wraps or coils I do the coils always take awhile to fire up so im not even sure if ohms is an issue. Also my battery is fully charged.

ICR is the wrong chemistry battery to use for vaping, it is a more volatile chemistry than the recommended IMR / hybrid ' safer chemistry' batteries.

Samsung's INR is a hybrid chemistry battery and is suitable for vaping use.

Start by obtaining an ohm meter/ dvom and the correct chemistry battery with a sufficient continuous discharge rate (CDR) expressed in amps for the resistance range you intend to use.

ICR batteries are for low current only, they are the ones that vent with flame/explode. They should not be used for this, period.

You NEED an ohm meter, this is absolutely necessary to check for shorts (at minimum) and make sure the build is safe to fire. It is also helpful for making sure you got the resistance you expected.

With what you have now, feel lucky that you still have your fingers, face, and life. Shorting an ICR battery will cause it to vent/explode very quickly.

Unfortunately we don't have enough information to diagnose the vapor issue, and for the moment you do not have the equipment necessary to proceed safely with troubleshooting. Please order safe batteries suited for vaping and an ohm meter designed for checking the resistance of an atomizer, I would advise reading through the forums and checking out youtube for build tutorials while you wait for the batteries and ohm meter to arrive.

The person who told you that lied to you. I made more resistors in my time in the USN than you will in 20 lifetimes of vaping and still need an ohm meter. Do not listen to anyone who tells you you don't need to know the ohms of something inches from your face and on top of a battery...
