I got a cameo a couple minutes in. I think the slant was positive with exception to that kook Bill Lee, who is a friggin former (fired) school psychologist. He used to live next door. His boy, Sam, Gave my oldest step-son 13 stitches over his eye with a golf club. True story.

I think the reporting was pretty decent. Certainly a lot less fear-mongering than most. I remember seeing the news van when we were on our way in, but never gave it another thought. Cags mentioned to me it would have been nice if the report would have said it was a Halloween party meet!

Wish I could remember what I was talking about with my arms all a flutter.

I just watched this and I was please at just how little of the typical fear mongering was included in the story. Yes, there was some (gotta seem balanced), but for the most part it was a very positive piece.

It was a fairly long piece as well - not just a short blurb leaving the viewer wondering why they even bothered taping.

totally agree! if they tried to interview me all I probably would have been able to spit out is "give us our freedom back"!

Watched the piece. Seemed pretty positive to me. It is great to see a piece that is not condemning vaping in general. Hopefully there will be more unbiased news stories in the future. People seem to lean negative about things they do not understand.

Very nice News piece, fantastic and fun looking meet! Wonder if they do anything like that in my home town! I'd prollie drop $300 at a place like that easily lol! I like the field reporter at the end saying she left the place smelling of a sweet fragrance.....bizarre! That's awesome!

I was also impressed by the fact that they chose articulate normal seeming vapers to talk with, although I guess both of the guys they spoke with were vape shop owners. They've obviously got some experience making the case for vaping which is all to the good.

I'm very jealous of your vape meets every two months. It looks like good turnout and nice people.

I was going to comment on that as well. That's an important point. It doesn't smell like smoke. Therefore you don't smell like smoke, your clothes don't smell like smoke, and bystanders don't smell like smoke.
