You haven't updated your profile with your location, so no one knows where you are. Keep in mind that this forum is world wide. It's also a plus to find people close by in case you need help or emergency supplies.

I'll assume you are in the USA.

VG (Vegetable Glycerin) Any CVS Pharmacy, Walmart, Micheal's Crafts, Baking supply stores, some health food stores.

PG (Propylene Glycol) Compounding Pharmacy, Tractor Supply.

Everclear (if desired) Most liquor stores or you can use 100 proof Vodka.

great stuff, thanks!

I've got Wal-mart, CVS and Michaels around here, so I can start there. Many, many thanks :)

Jim: I know I haven't updated my profile, I suppose I'm too paranoid :) I was more looking for general guidelines like "Pharmicies", "Craft stores" or whatever. You hit three for three with your suggestions of actual retailers though! Thanks again

moshinator: what's "glycerin-humco-usb"? is that something I'll need too? I've got a walmart like 2 miles from here, so I can head on over and get some if I need it! Thanks:)

normal glycerine is a baking item, used for making "professional" cakes- in walmart or grocery stores, it's located with cake supplies. They sell boxes of icing colors, and it should be near that.

I also saw some yesterday in walmart in the pharmacy section, near the peroxide and alcohol, but the bottle said it was used for preserving dry flowers. (?)

Annah;

The Walmart Pharmacy Glycerin is the stuff. If it says "USP" on it, it's good to go.

Thats whats Blowing My Mind about this VG stuff. I ask employes at Micheles and they get a blank look, I ask the Baker at W.M. and hes never herd of it. So im using the glycerin SOLD AS skin protectant to cut 36mg juice and having no problems. Its 99.5 pure.

Most clerks have no idea what you're talking about. As long as it says "USP" it's good.

I know when I moved to Southeast Texas it was the Twilight Zone, but this takes the cake... literally. Walmart, CVS, bake shop and a hobby store... none have it. NONE. Is there anyway to find it online? When I do, everything is out of stock! This is typical though, of my life... and this area (Orange, Texas). I will probably have to go to Houston to get it.. Lake Charles, LA is closer, but when I call I can hear the blank stare over the phone. lol It's frustrating.. but I WILL find some.. :)
