Since starbucks has now banned vaping I thought i'd throw out 2 coffee shops that do allow vaping.

The 1st is my favorite coffee shop, Extreme Bean, located at 1707 E Southern Ave #2, Tempe, AZ 85282 in the walgreens plaza on the southwest corner.

The other one that I know of in my area is Steve's Espresso Bar, located at
1801 E Baseline Rd #102, Tempe, AZ 85283 in the Peter Piper Pizza Plaza (say that 3 times fast) on the southeast corner.

If anyone knows of any other vape friendly coffee shops please list them.

Lol, I have a coffe maker and buy gloria jeans columbian dark roast by the lb, but going out for a cup of coffee on a day off is an excuse to shower and get dressed. I find that I'm very lazy and on my days off it's way too easy for me to couch potato it all day. Also, since my ex and I split up a few years ago there's a much better chance of seeing hot girls at the coffee shops as opposed to my living room....

Dutch Brothers is drive thru...

I'll have to check out the 2 you mentioned just because I have a few days off coming up and need to avoid the couch.

A little out of the way for me but I'll make the trek to support a pro vape hangout.

I had NO problems openly vaping (kinda hard to do anything stealthily when you're as big and obnoxious as I am) at both the Harkins Theatre at Tempe Marketplace last night and the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf coffee shop right next to the theatre. Unvape related, I give the movie 'Now You See Me' a solid 8 out of 10 stars.

I am still having a hard time openly vaping in the parking lot as I walk into the grocery store.

I still get that outcast feeling I had as a smoker where I don't want the looks and I don't want to offend anyone.

I'm starting to get a little better about it but it's definitely a transition for me.

The good thing is as I've become a little more comfortable with it I'm gearing up to be evangelical about it to curious smokers.

"Step right up and I will tell you about the magic and glory that is vaping my children!!"

Until then I'll just hang out on my couch, vape, and surf ECF for more knowledge...

Funny. I couldn't wait to vape in front of everyone (and did/do). Frys, in Walmart, in all the restaurants, every bar I go to, on cruise ships, airports (but not openly on the plane, just in the john :vapor:), at the D-backs game on Friday (stealthly, cuz they don't like it, but the guy next to me didn't say a peep), you name it... I've probably vaped there.

I usually (but not always) tell them I want to vape there, explain what it is, and talk them into letting me.

New member Taltos (the vaper formerly known as TableTops, or T-top for short) *snort laugh* got a view of me in action at lunch on Saturday... talking a hesitant seating host into seating us and letting us vape in the bar where they weren't seating anyone. LOL.

I think if you're confident about what you're doing, usually nobody doubts that it's okay. Works for me anyway. *wink*

I'm really set off by the new Starbucks policy. I'm an avid addict of overpriced coffee and am a gold member for the next couple years already. If they had a platinum or a diamond status, I'd probably have that also.

Is the no vaping policy posted at Starbucks? I didn't see it the last time I was there...post June 1... and vaped respectfully at the counter while waiting for my drinks.
Nary a word was said...

I'll happily covert to the vale friendly place...especially if they have a hole drilled in the table that fits my mod...rofl.

thanks
Geo

Most employees are clueless about the e-cig policy. Starbucks has stated early on that e-cig use is NOT allowed indoors and they're NOT allowed in the outdoor seating area either. They want you 25 feet away from the area outside even. I don't know if they're putting up signs that include the word e-cigs or not.

What ....... Nicotine users typically consume more coffee than any other group I'd think.

That said, I have sat at the outdoor area and vaped a few times at the one in Surprise. Nobody said anything. If/When they do, I won't go back... ever. I like Tully's coffee just fine, and Duncan's will do. It'll also make me think about NOT picking up bags of Starbucks ground in the store as well...

If you have time, it's always a good idea to send them a letter or email and voice your opinion as a consumer. *wink*
