Locking bottom button help

Ok I have a few question and I'm in Need of suggestions I need to make a few mechanical bottom buttons for a few projects I'm working on I need one that locks so it won't fire in my pocket I would like a few suggestions any help is appreciated I do have access to lathes mills saws and all that but I want simple

I like the idea of the lock on the Katana. A ring that screws down to disable the button. Can be seen in first few seconds of this video katana.avi - YouTube
