Logitech G9 pocket mod

This could have been so much more...more than enough room to have made a small non metered vv but I decided to try a fet touch switch instead...I'm so over those (fail)...but I thought I'd throw it up if only because it was the perfect stealth box and still wound up pretty tiny, ah well, purple drip tip and batts, black highlights, very little wire, kinda like a little "Barbie" mod...

you'll note the failed hole in the back where a modded co-axial connector touch pad used to be, now it's just a tact, at least it's a cool little ball tact

Well done,Quigsworth.I happen to have the same box as my G9's cable just died a few weeks ago.
I think I'm gonna make something like this,I just gotta come up with some battery connectors.

So far I came up with this :



What do you guys think + the main question : "WILL IT WORK?",as it's my 2nd mod(Nico Stick being the first one).

Of course it'll work, have faith brother...I'd just like to see a better use of space...if it is the G9 weight box (btw, I've got a email into Logitech to see if I can just buy the box, the G5 uses the same box...

As far as box width goes...there's room for 2x 14500's (wire them in parallel) and a standard carto, above the batts I put a mosfet cct and a tact switch...I'm throwin' down the glove...come on! you can cram more in there, you have the space, use it!

Actually,here it is : Logitech
I found G5/G9 tins on the Polish Logitech site,but can't find them on the US site(I'm not sure if G9x tin is the same as G9 is).
Btw,I'm not really into all the transistor stuff etc. I guess I'll have to take a look.But I'd rather make it a 2*14500 with 3.7-4.2 voltage lasting 2 times longer (1800 mAh).

I also thought of using the foam thingy inside cut a bit to place the parts in it(cushion+isolation)and make the wires go under it so it looks clean.

It`s more than enough space to put what do you want in that box with 14500 2 pc off course. Or 1 pc batt+ booster + lcd display showing Vin Vout and Iout i want and will be some boxe with that
