Sure hope it's good. Just clicked for a SS and also a black. Size sounds perfect for lock it and pocket it.
Really wish I could find out more about this little mod. For the price, it makes me wonder.....
I don't know the voltage drop but after having over 40 mods over the last 18 month I can tell you it is very little if any. I mailed my aluminum one to bebop.rocksteady to evaluate so there is more than just my word. I believe it is scheduled for delivery today. I lock it and pocket the aluminum because it is so light and use the ss at home.

Well I got my new Lavarocks in. They weren't the ones I thought I was going to get.
The button lock is different than what I ordered.
I'd like to give a big kudos and pat on the back to Tim from digital cigs. As soon as he realized the mistake I received an e mail letting me know the mistake. He offered to replace both mods and also reimburse the shipping charges. Great customers service. I declined the kind offer and will use what I received. It's a minor detail, but I wanted to give Tim the credit he deserves.

Just got an update from Tim @ Digital Cigs. His email was to let me know that the correct bottom locking buttons are going to be shipped out. NOW THATS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Hats off.

The bottom of both mine are not like the ones in your pics. The lock is the button itself. (Man I got a lot if catching up to do over the next two days).
Just got mine! Is there any way to disassemble the bottom button in order to shorten the "Throw" ?
He is mailing out the correct bottoms/locks so everyone that got the ones you did will also get the other style so you can choose which you like best!
Yes I did. Here's the photo. Nothing on top, but that can be cured.

Just be careful with the 510 connection on the aluminum model. My black beauty is already stripped out. Bummer too, cause it is sooooo lightweight.
