So it's looking like 5 wraps of 28 gauge is pretty sweet. Didn't like the first build with 7 wraps of 27 gauge, that was hot. On my rm2 I was perfect at 5 wraps 27 gauge...
Where is every else at with this dual coil business???

For my 2x coil set-ups using 28 ga. Kanthal with a 5/64" drill bit, I'll use either 7 or 8 wraps.

This is very airy with the slots wide open... I think I could do better in the flavor dept although the vape is cool and thick. If I'm not completely satisfied with the cool I just built, next I'll try 6 wraps of 28awg to get more cool on wick area....

The mini has two coils of 30g wrapped nine times and came out to .94 ohms, it's a bit cooler than what I've been vaping but I'm liking it. The Grand has two coils of 28g wrapped seven times and comes out to .52 ohms and I think this is gonna be my sweet spot build. Both were built on the STSJITG (second to smallest jig in the Gismo) We really need to come up with a name for that one jig lol! Both are kickin out the vapor and flavor in spades.

I got mine yesterday and it completely rocks on a single coil build!! Im not a dual coiler, and cant believe how good the flavor is on this thing with just a 1.3 ohm coil! Thanks for the drip tip too! It looks great on R2!

I had the same setup before i switched to 28ga cause of the delay....

I kind of like the gradual ramp up that I get with the 26g. Once in a while, if I want a little quicker, I'll use 27g.

My personal favorite is a 3/32 bit, 26awg 4 wrap. Comes in at around a .25 and very warn for my favorite desserty juices.

My typical is still pretty warm with same as above with 5 wraps, sometimes 6. I think its in the mid .3's -.4s

Slight warmup delay but nothing thats annoying for me.

Bad memory. This morning I got in my car and that protank was sitting in the cup holder where it got tossed when I first screwed on my Odin. I cussed at it one last time...

Thanks for pics on the single coil. Have you also tried dual on the Odin and which do you prefer? Thinking about a single coil on next build but, maybe awhile. This dual is rockin.

Not a big fan of duals. I dont like the airy draws and mouth to lung inhales arent very satisfying. Im not a lung hitter. This works perfect for me. I watched Super-X's video on single coiling the Odin. The best tip is putting the coil on the side that has two cutouts. Im sure you already knew that though. [emoji12]
