I doubt it will sell very well. I mean we are getting so great customer service + support on a great product(s) with an amazing price already. If I can get good build quality and material at 65, why should I bother with a clone that costs half the price?

On the other hand, this only goes to show the popularity of the Odin.

I'm annoyed that a clone happened but then again, it's recognition for Craig and team. I mean who bothers making a clone if the original is crap, right?

I wonder if they will make router clones, seeing how popular it is lol

Wanted to give a shout out to ckquatt! Set up a single coil in the Odin, came out to .70Ω and tighter, warmer draw! That is, after I closed up the air holes a bit  I really liked the Odin before but this is way better for me.

Quick question for those who may know (and this may sound stupid) but is the draw real airy in the Odin because it's larger or the air holes are bigger? Or does that not make a bit of difference?

Awesome!! It really does make a great single coiler! As far as air holes you ought to see how much hole I have exposed. I like a bit of a tighter draw, much like the (which I consider to be on the tight side) RM2. The single coil hole on my Odin is all but closed off! I bet you couldn't get a sewing needle through it. That's the perfect amount of air for me!

I'm glad it's working out for you AngiBe!!

Actually it is 1/4 of the price, many people are strapped for cash and not willing to even spend 65. Let's not go there, this clone horse has been beaten to death already.

PS
When is the router bit going to be back in stock? ;)

Non-BF Odin has been cloned. I'm not going to provide any links, but it is out there already from US vendor. Craig hurry up and get router bits in stock so I can order from you :)
I'm well aware of them, 2 customers actually bought Odins and sent them to China (I keep track of serials).

There were legal measures started before we even released the Odin. I do not want to take any US vendor to court, but I wont sit by and watch them sell counterfeits of my product either.

That being said, I can see why poeple want the clone. They dont care. They're probably the same people complaining about how our country is in the crapper but do all their shopping at Walmart(still supporting china).

$65 bucks for an Odin with customer supoort and an availability of havning your Odin's insulator replaced for free if needed. Shouldn't be any of the typical excuses but there always will be. I can tell you one thing, I spend a hell of a lot less vaping then I did as a smoker every month so that excuse is just that.

Sorry if I offended anyone but that's honestly how I see it.

I've bought clones before a couple of times. One was the Ehpro nemesis and an atomic clone. But everything I buy now, especially from U.S. makers are all original. I, for one can't see going for a clone of the Odin, or anything from Loki as the product is outstanding, customer service is perfect and it's not one of those outrageous priced items. Heck, I found a router tip from another vendor here in the states and even pm'd Craig to find out if it was an authorized dealer and not some purveyor of counterfeits. He got back with me promptly and it was a dealer. I won't even buy a drip tip that's not legit. So, I'll just wait until more router tips come out:).

... and a lot of the same set also complaining about their chronic unemployment. SMH.

My Odin came in this morning. I gave her a rinse and built a diagonal .32 dual coil with 26g. The way the posts are designed is excellent makes for really easy building. The airflow is outstanding and she vapes like a dream. I've been vaping her for a few hours and I'm really loving it..

Actually the clones will come with a router drip tip also... I am not one that is against clones. Not everyone out there can afford the real deal on most vape products. I think it is bad for Craig and Loki, but it is also flattering because the Odin is such a great product. Maybe the clone will be a bust and it will lead more people to Loki for the real deal. I don't see why this shouldn't have been cloned. The Omega was... I love the 2 Odins I have very much, yet was intrigued by the clone. This is and was not meant as a knock to Craig or Loki at all. As I said before, I love my 2 Odins and props to Russ for turning me on to them. They are one of the best atty's I have vaped.

Pardon me as I have to rant just slightly here....

I, and quite a few others, have been waiting for the routers to be in stock for what seems like an eternity now , only to find out they have taken a back seat to a prototype product!!! Craig responded to a post of mine over a month ago that they were 2 weeks out. Then after those 2 weeks, told 2 weeks more... Now we're just past that 2 weeks and now being told it will be longer due to a prototype project!!! This IMO, is a bad business model... There have been loyal customers waiting, answered, waited, answered, and now being put off even longer... Not good... Why not just be upfront and tell us over a month ago there are more pressing things than what we are wanting to buy right this moment? Again....not good in my book....

I apologize if I have offended anyone here, my intent was not to do that... Just voicing my opinion was all, and felt the need to vent a little... All this talk about customer service that is thrown around so much, I have to question it sometimes. As a business owner once, I always found it necessary to keep the customer informed, truthfully... Don't keep telling them 2 weeks when asked, while the whole time 2 weeks was never the goal. I feel like I have been duped here...

Rant over....

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I have expressed several times over the past 2 years Loki Isnt a main business. Its been rather a hobby as vapers and were trying to gear up more.

Secondly, I know many machnists who dont always hit perfect time frames.

I think we do well for a small company of 3. Vaping products are not what pay the bills for the 3 of us but still try to do things in a timely manner.

I may sound like i am but i am not against clones. I own some clones, in fact. My point was if the clones were at half the price, then it should not impact loki much...

Now, if you say that the clones are a quarter of the price, drip tip included, then it will make a big enough impact.

I sort of agree here, but only with the missing communication bit.

We all know that lokilab was formed more out of interest as fellow vapers and hence, i can accept other stuff taking priority. I was informed by Craig when i Pm'd him regarding the router tips a couple of days ago that the prototype will have to be completed before the tips. That was acceptable, to me.

It would have been good if Craig had communicated a more realistic schedule and updated us here if Loki cannot meet that deadline.

Mayhaps some prototype photos and of that gungnir mod/borr rda would appease the crowd... Lol
