So I got a tracking email from steve yesterday ( thanks for shipping so quick!!) and checked the updates just now.. and guess what the status is!? MISSENT? Never seen this one before. My package was "mis-routed" and "every attempt is being made to deliver as soon as possibe". At least they are kind enough to let me know whats going on so im not sitting here pulling my hair out tomorrow expecting an order. Oh, wait. Almost forgot. I already was. 8-o o well. By the way, Nuport is my new flavor of choice. Excellent job on that one, guys.

USPS tracking is just plain weird.

I have two orders that still say they left Chicago but never arrived anywhere. Of course, I have both of them.

Oh well. As long as the packages get here...

Someone else posted where they had a package "missent" and got it in the 2-3 day priority window anyway... hope your lucky like them~~! My package always gets here and then USPS tells me I got it 3 days later

I've read in the forums that USPS' tracking system is not very reliable, but v4L sent me an email 8 days ago saying my order has been shipped and the online USPS system is still saying there is no record of it. Is this common? Its an international order to Australia btw...

The USPS shipping tracking system is a farce. I have never had it accurately predict when I will receive an item ordered. I've only used it to get a general idea, sometimes the items arrive earlier than the estimated delivery and sometimes later.

I've had 3 packages missent. Each time it arrived within 4 days from the original ship date. If it arrives at a wrong destination it goes from that post office to the correct destination on the next available transport.

Unlike most, the tracking has always been spot-on for me! I get the email from V4L indicating that the order has shipped, I check usps.com, and follow the tracking from Chi-town, to Baltimore, right to my door (WV) in three days! I guess I'm the lucky one?!

Until this order. I get the email from V4L, check usps.com, and my order went from Chicago............to Los Angeles? Now it's been 4 days, and there haven't been any updates! Looks like the luck has worn out! AARRGGHH!!!!

I had one that stuck at "received for shipping" in Chicago and stayed that way until 4 days after I got the package! Only once did an order actually get sent somewhere else, delaying it for a day.

I always get my orders in two days. The USPS tracking is kind of a joke. Usually only get two alerts - shipped and delivered, but I can get the shipped alert from V4L and of course I know when it's delivered.
