How many people are on this website, not just for the subject matter, but because they get lonely?

I wouldn't say lonely but I have met some great people on here who have helped me and now I feel I can give something back and help others.. I will confess to some of that. Honestly, though, I think I mostly do it because I like helping people less knowledgeable than I, and learning from those more so.

Often alone, mostly by choice, but never lonely. Well, not really alone with 3 dogs and 5 cats. I have lots of hobbies and would prefer not to be interrupted by others who have no interest in any of them. Retired now, so I do what I want, when I want and how I want or nothing at all, lol.
