Very true tj, about stacking the batteries and thank you for your concern. I am going to be changing that in the near future but I am taking as many precautions as I can to use them safely. I just don't have the money atm to change it. That will change in a few weeks and then I will be done with stacked batteries permanently. (Bought them when I didn't know any better)

As far as the 2.8 working at 6v? It works pretty dang good actually lol the only downside to it, is keeping juice in the head. It becomes a little harder to do at 6v than at a lower voltage but it is doable. Just have to pay attention to what you are doing. Does it hit as hard as a freight train? Harder actually, but again, it was just another adjustment that I had to account for.

I just had an order arrive from them today with a freebie 15ml Caramel Apple and I really like it (using it right now on my LT with a Vivi Nova). They've been my go to vendor for the last several months for liquid. Try the Extreme Ice from them if you haven't yet. I normally hate menthol liquids, but it is one of my daily vapes.

edit: 6v with the 2.8 (if it's actually at that) is only a little over 12 watts. That's not that high if you like a warm/hot vape and around where I vape most of the time.

+1 on the Caramel Apple! Really spot on! I'll look at trying the Ex Ice next go around.

It is actually 2.71 according to my Ohm meter. A little above 12 but not too bad with most juices. Just a tad too hot on spicy juices (imho).

If I can find a few juices I really like, I'm perfectly happy with my Ego Mega Dual Coil Cart. But for all those new flavors one wants to try I need an atty or small cart - they sure are a pain to constantly fill, then leaking/overfilling.

I'm already thinking of buying some flavorings to try making my own juice. Also, already getting worried about what to get when my Kgo goes. I've had it 3 days. Is it normal to get a bit obsessed when you first quit smoking and start vaping? - - I'm also vaping all the time. I'll be really ...... off I they discover it really bad for one's health. I am ordering many without nicotine.

Good advice from this forum.

It is very easy to become obsessed about your equipment or trying to perfect the "perfect for you" setup. If it was me, and you are perfectly happy with the Kgo, I would buy another battery or two just to have for spares. It's never a bad thing to do that, as well as a spare Cart or two.

As far as vaping all the time, I did that in the very beginning as well, but I find now, I don't have to have a puff as soon as I start sipping my coffee, but rather sometimes an hour plus after I'm up. Just whenever I feel the need for a nicotine hit. Or if life is getting a bit stressful, then I may take a few hits for a little bit and then set it back down.

I haven't gotten the bug just yet to DYI but I am about to make some modifications to a couple of juices I already have. See how well they turn out and then maybe move more into DIY.

I understand the part about the need for an atty. Luckily they are pretty inexpensive and should last you awhile if you are only testing liquids to see how you like them. You might look into a Punched Carto with a tank. Initial setup is basically the same as a normal cart, but then you have a tank that will hold extra juice and will feed automatically into the carto without flooding it.

Get an atty and a drip shield. The drip shield will contain any overdripping and you will have no leaking. I use one on all my atties, whether testing new juices or dripping for the pure pleasure of the full flavor of the juice. They are inexpensive and work ;)

Be sure to blow out atties and clean out the drip shield when changing juices.

I'm a year and a half vaping now and I vape most of the time I'm up, but then I use a low nic juice. When you go no nic or low nic you vape more to try to get what your brain is screaming for. I vape 4mg on a normal basis but keep some higher nic juice for stressful situations.

YMMV
