I bought 3 attys that had the brad kingpin on them that I used for dripping. The first had no brass coloring down the length and I used it for about 6 months until it stopped giving good hit/flavor. The others had a brass band about 25% of the way down the side and only lasted about 3 weeks until the produced little flavor/hit and were hard to draw through. Since they were the same order I don't know if there is more than a comestic differance and I don't even remember where I bought them from, being about a year ago. I would appericate if anyone could give me some advice for finding a 510 atty that gives strong hit/flavor that dosn't need replaced every month.

my magma atty from volcano lasted a couple months vaping at 3.7 volts. But once I took it to 5 volts it dies in a few weeks. Now I am trying out the HH357 atty from avid. Seems to work quite well for me but only been using it for a week. No drop in flavor or vapor as of yet. What is your PV? You can get diff efftects depending on voltage and atty ohms.

I bought a Joye 510, but only one battery is original althought they all look the same. I'm quite ignorant about the volts/ohms; I haven't done any research since I was satisfied and I haven't had to buy any new parts since my original purchase. However, now I'm out of attys and the ammount of info and choices is a bit overwhealming.

I am not sure of the combos of reg 510 pvs. Surely there is someone out there that can say something bout them. But you if you really want strong hit and flavor you may have to upgrade the pv to something that puts out at least 3.7 volts and have a 650-1000 mah rating on the battery so that you can use low resistance atty. If not a 5 volt device and a standard atty would give you the same thing.

Atty are made to be replaced if you had one that lasted 6 months you were extremely lucky and if you don't know about using or choosing atty's then the HH.357 is probably not for you since they need more care than the usual lot of attys. If I were you {and I have been} I would go to Puresmoker.com and order 5 boxes of standard or lr atty's so you won't run out for months. They give you a great discount on bulk boge attys. I would also upgrade to at least a 650mah eGo battery and you really need to have two of any 510 type devices you may be using.
You will get a half price discount on the total amount at check out.

I usually get atties from Vapor Kings. They sell a 10 pack for like $40. Most I give away to fellows on here in need, because I have NEVER popped one. And I don't perform any kind of maintanence on them. Well, that's a lie, I did pop ONE. I was experimenting with my first homemade mod, and accidentally pushed 7.4 volts through a LR atty.

I'm happy with any atty I get two weeks out of, and more than that is gravy. The longest lasting attys I've used in the last year are Joye 510 and 306s. Just can't beat 'em. Ciscos vape well and last ok but the added cost doesn't justify the miniscule performance gain, plus in my experience Joyes have better longevity.

At one time SLB attys were a nice, low cost alternative, but they redesigned them this year and they are CRAP now.

Backwoods Brew sells the 306 LR drip atty and these are the gold standard for eGo batteries. The 306 and 510 thread are the same. You will need 400mah or better batteries to use low resistance with any semblance of reliability.

The Riva 510 kit from E-Liquid and Electronic Cigarette Shop - Category Listings is a good buy at $29.95. Click on the 20% off icon at the top of the page to get that price. the Riva batteries will work fine with low resistance atomizers and cartomizers.
