Long stem vs. Short stem coils?

I am going to get the Kanger Aerotank to go with my Triton. I was looking at one of the sites, and I was offered 2 options in terms of coils, long vs. short stem. Here is a link to the site that I have been ordering my gear from...

Aside from length of the wicks, what are the differences between these two options? will one have a higher battery drain? will the pull be different, or vapor production? What are the pros or cons for these two options?

I don't believe the short stem is compatible with the aerotank. The stem is what feeds into the chimney on the tank.

You need the long stems for the Aerotank. Not sure why they give you an option for short stem. What they mean by short stems, I assume, are meant for Protanks, Protank 2, mini PT2 etc. Its says in the description the short stems have been discontinued.

You have to have the long stem one's for the PT2, the mini PT2 and also the aerotank. I have all of them and I know the short ones wouldn't work.

Is long stem superior to the short stem in any way, or vice versa? I am 80% sure that I will get the Aero, but in case I go with something that uses a short stem, I would like to know what, if any differences there are

All of my kanger tanks require the long stem so I'm not sure.

THe short stems are for EVODs and they do work for PT1 and PT2. But I believe for the OPs device you need the long stem
