Hello ECF! Been lurking forever as I've dived deeper into the world of vaping. After 11 years of smoking a pack+ a day with no attempts to quit EVER, I start vaping in Feb. and haven't touched a analog since March. Quickly went from EonSmoke to Ego to Vamo and now my first authentic is my most anticipated vapemail yet. Copper mod users, any recommendations for upkeep? Heard Noalox is good, any other ideas? Bonus question - should I replace the spring with magents right away?

The only thing copper requires is to keep it clean and corrosion free on all conductive elements... like threads and button contact surfaces. The outside can look like ancient, ugly hell, as long as the insides are pristine.
If this mech is all copper... avoid being ham-fisted. Copper is soft - threads can be very fragile.
Without knowing what mech you bought, knowing if the spring feel warrants a change to magnets can't be determined... there are plenty of mechs that work wonderfully with springs.
Magnets aren't necessarily the magic cure-all they're far too frequently given credit for. Use the mech for a few weeks, let it break in... give it a good cleaning, then reevaluate the quality of the spring feel.

I've got a Vanilla Copper landing on Thursday. I found a Brass Monkee to pair it with, I haven't had much luck finding a copper RDA to match with the mech...other than the last version of the Tobh which seems impossible to find (for less than $200 on vapetrader). Any suggestions? I've been building on a Nimbus clone for the past few weeks to get more confident with microcoils and now I'm ready to try the big leagues.
Check with "Cap it All" vapes... they probably make or will make a copper cap for just about any RDA, that isn't copper already.
Whoa Cap It All is excellent! thank you. I do have a brass Tobh clone en route from Fasttech now, if it performs well I'll probably grab the copper version as well. I just found the Mad Industries copper top as well.
