Good morning. I've been lurking around here since late February. I quit smoking and took up vaping on February 24th, 10am. That's also when I bought my first e cig after trying my cousin's out for the night. I found I didn't crave a cigarette the rest of the evening, and made the switch. I'll be 38 next month, and had been smoking a pack a day of Marlboro reds for 22 years. I live in Houston, have been with my wife 20 years, and have two sons, 11 and 8.

My journey in to vaping has taken off VERY fast. I started with an ego C and Kanger T3S (which I will still carry) and moved on to mech mods within a couple weeks. As of now, I have a Cronus/Nimbus, Caravela/Patriot, Stingray/Patriot and yesterday picked up the Nemesis and a Kayun 3.1. My daily carry is a VTR loaded with 24mg Tribeca. All my mech mods are hcigar, as well as the Nimbus and Kayfun. The two Patriots are authentic.

Anywho, just a quick introduction.

Oh, and my name is Johnny

Welcome aboard, brother! I quit smoking almost immediately after I tried vaping in February of last year. It still amazes me how easy the transition was.

I know, same here. It was just a random thing, too. I always thought it was BS and wouldn't work with me. I had my cousin and a buddy over for some beer and to shoot some pool. I don't drink frequently, but when I do, I drink. Which, of course, means more cigs. After a 6 pack, I asked my cousin if he had enough juice for me to give it a good try. After that, I was hooked. 2 days later, bought my own rig, and don't miss cigs at all.

Welcome friend! I smoked 2 packs a day for 25 years and I was able to quit smoking very comfortably without cravings or problems with using the 24 mg nicotine and vaping. I'm on day 23 now of quitting! It was way easier than I thought it would be thanks to vaping! And when my taste finally came back I could really enjoy the juice! Again I'd like to say welcome!

Thanks. I've found that I do get a bit of vape tongue with Tribeca from time to time. Like, I can't taste it. So, I just switch to another juice for a bit. I've gone through MANY types of juice, and Tribeca is the only one that gets to where there is ZERO taste. I don't get it. Still get the throat hit and nic satisfaction, but zero taste. Then I remind myself that even nothing tastes better than a cigarette.
