I have since got back up dusted my self off and since September 2012 I have not had an analogue full time Vaper so thought I would introduce my self again. Im char and knocking on a bit 55 on and of the vaping with look a like cigs like many do for over 4 years ,then found egos that changed my life Now getting into mods and rebuilding and new hobby is in full swing.

Welcome to ECF and its wonderful to hear you've scrambled back onto the wagon! Hope the ride isn't as bumpy as it was for your last trip.

I looked into vaping when you first started and there were so many problems both with the gear and juices that I couldn't see my way clear to trying it. A huge thanks to you and others who paved the way for making vaping life so much easier and better for those of us who now stand on your shoulders

I think your right it was a tough journey gear and juices were inconsistent and to change from analogues not a easy one with thing going wrong all the time you really did have to make an effort. Now seems much easier the gear is good and the juices available now is astounding but now I am back and really enjoying the freedom and choices available I will never fall off the wagon again and will be there for all new vapers and those comming up in the future we are all ambassadors off this still very new revolution..

Hi there, I'm also from Hampshire, and my story is similar to yours as you van see from my join date.
Back then I struggled with the inconsistency of the products, and spent time looking at tea bag mods for cartridges etc. but it all got too much and the analog use was just too easy.
This year I have found a juice I love (the variety is so much better), and the systems that work for me.
I use an ecab at home and when driving, and an eroll for social situations. They are tank/atomiser systems, and both are discreet enough for me to use without being self conscious. I haven't felt the need to upgrade to vv, vw, prothingy etc.
I am down from over a pack a day to maybe 2 cigs in a week, smoked a few puffs at a time. Not sure I even enjoy those, but its easier for me to say I can have them if I want them than to say never again.
I don't take cigs out with me any more, and that is such a big thing to drive three hours or more, without any cigarettes with me, and no urge to buy any. I think this time it will work after 30 years of cigs.
Good luck, and hope it works for you too.

Hi plum I think maybe a lot of people are just like us But last sept I wasn't even thinking about giving it another try. I saw this chap on the market store in Havant stood there for a while tried out his stuff. Brought and ego kit and thought right no pressure smoke if I want. Then a couple of days later went to seek him out at waterlooville market and brought more I was only smoking 5 per day then it drop to 2 or 3 a week. That's when I thought. What am I doing why do I need these. After 30 or 40 per day and now 2 or 3 a week why .. That was it stopped. Can't say I didn't think about it as I did sometimes but now 8 months in and I am not going back I enjoy it I feel much more confident with it.
Hey wow and e roll they look cool I really fancy one off those Xxx

Count me in on the "early adopter who gave up then returned to find a whole new world of vaping" club. And like you, lostit, this time I wasn't even trying to quit smoking, more like just giving the new hardware (an eGo-C Twist + clearomizer) a fair chance to impress me. I decided to simply try and remember to take a few puffs of vapor before every cigarette. Sooner than I could have imagined I was no longer smoking.

Welcome back, from a new member :D

Yes, the eroll is really great for down the pub or in a coffee shop etc.

Same here! if I can get suppliers to stop screwing me around I think I can make it 'stick' this time.

I agree you have to find a supplier that you trust and stick with them. Trouble being you can't get everything you want from on supplier once you find good ones stick with them .. I have 2 for my juices as I can't get everything I want from 1 and ecigs/ mods from another 2 so I'm down to 4 in total now who I trust and use all the time.
