Been smoking for about 20 years and had my last cig on Friday at 8pm
Got myself the Ego-t with 900 mah and low atomiser thingys.
I have to say i still get the odd craving for a Death stick but holding out strong.
What has hit me most is how everything tastes now.
Its mind blowing what av been missing out on for all them years.
Have started out on Menthol but not found one that taste any good.
So have placed an order of some LnB at 50/50 24mg and will see if that helps me more with that odd craving.
Any help with what i should get or do would be great

Hi Davie and Gratz on making the switch, I was a heavy smoker fro 36yrs when I found these fine implements and could hardly believe how easy it was to quit using them. I started with an eGo and low res attys as well, so that sounds like a great start to me, and remember the odd cravings that hit from time to time - they do ease off and getting some 24mg juice is a good idea.

I can't help out with the menthol bit, never been a fan myself, but I've found it best to order sample flavors wherever possible until I find juices I like from specific vendors.

Congratulations Davie and welcome to ECF! In a few weeks you'll notice breathing is easier too! I recommend trying Halo menthols -they're my favorite, particularly Menthol Ice, while my wife likes TruePure. Berry flavors mixed with menthols work for me too.

I started at 24mg to kill the cravings, and after a few months moved down to 18mg. Good luck finding some good flavors!

Welcome! I smoked the equivalent of 2 1/2 PAD for 34 years and nothing worked to get me to quit. It's been a month and I'm down to just a few cigarettes a day, which is huge for me and I see it as MAJOR harm reduction, so I'm not hard on myself about it. I don't think you should be hard on yourself either. :)

I ordered a buttload of new juices a few days ago. One thing I found was that while I love all the sweet tasty flavors, it was almost too much sweet; and the idea of a non-sweet smoke sounds good. So I ordered several tobacco/menthol/spicy flavors.
Also, although the 24 mg strength feels like it's working, I thought maybe some of the super-high (30-ish mg) might also help kill the craving for a smoke, so I ordered a couple of high-test juices too. I need mega TH to feel satisfied. I think once I settle on what really works, I'll be able to give up the last few smokes...but since cutting down so much I really feel amazing.

Hang in there, drink tons of water, and pat yourself on the back for taking such a big step!
