Long time vaper, Newbie Modder, needs advice for first mechanical build

[h=2]Okay, so this feels really weird, but I have been vaping for like 2 years and I barely ask advice anymore, but I have never made my own mod! My goal in all this is to eventually build a dual 26650 mechanical (Box mod and a tube... Because I can... lol). I know. Lofty goals. I was thinking of starting off with a single or dual 18650, probably a box mod if dual, tube mod if single. But how do I do this? What parts do I need and where do I get these parts? Do I need a soldering iron? I don't have one. But how do I even go about doing this? If you need any more clarification as to what it is I'm trying to do, please ask, but can someone at least point me in the right direction?[/h]

You don't need a soldering iron, but you'll probably want one. But I built this crude lil guy with no solder at all. so if your box is big enough you can so all screw type connections. But solder can save a lot of space that way.

I use a micro torch, solder and a wet rag. lol Way faster, much better joints.
